That would be geographically specific obviously, as the Florida (Southern) populations for example wouldn't need any such thing regarding winter focus.
Food gathering must take top priority for them however, wherever they are., irrelevant of social structure i would have thought too.
How could the Rangers in 1924 have known that the rocks were thrown by humans? Is part of the government cover up that DNA testing was available in 1924? They had to make an assumption which would not even be logical since several ape species are known to throw things at humans.
Hi, Emily, this survey looks to be for a psychology or sociology class? I didn't fill it out mainly because "Believe" connotes something akin to having faith that the creature may exist? I don't say this out of any disrespect because I'm sure you personally would really like to know how the community in general stands on the issue. We do push hard for the science end of things and don't really take for granted that these things exist. I will tell you this though, if I EVER find out for certain that the creature exists I will post it here.........Oh, and welcome to the Forum you may actually find out a lot more if you care to look around some. Like you we are all busy but do find the time to read up on things. Enjoy.
As I have found I have about 3 times that tied up in my airplane's present value but zero results using it to look for BF. I suspect a noisy drone would be less successful than the airplane. On the other hand boots on the ground does not cost much of anything and that has given positive results. Throwing money at the problem has not been proven to work.
They know your mind and they know your heart. "Worthiness" is why 99.99% of persons attempting an encounter will fail.
ShadowBorn, it never occurred to me that 'ShadowBorn' could be an Indian name. I am 100% anglo, but if I had an indian name it would be " Slower traffic keep right".
They work hard at making sure Humans are the laughing stock and focus of ridicule of other Humans.
Gorillas wake up early, move around a bit, eat, nap for a couple of hours late morning, play and mate midday, nap some more, eat a bite, maybe make a next, and go to bed. They might sleep in on stormy/rainy days.
Wash, rinse, repeat .

OK- I'll bite. I encountered two BF back in 1990 at night near Telluride CO on what is known as the Dallas Divide. I had each one of them in my brights of my truck at very close range- about 8 to 10 feet. I had a camera and might have been able to take a photo, but the idea of putting my camera outside the truck so as to avoid windshield glare when the flash went off was a bit daunting. They were really big; both were seated and I got a good idea of how larger they were because to get past them I had to drive around them- they were literally seated in my lane on the hiway.
