  1. From a truly neutral standpoint I’d form the conclusion that the stories are false.

  2. I'd have to review what evidence there was for a hoax. There can be all sorts of aftermath when compelling evidence arises, including fake debunking and misinformation. One of the other vocalizations in the recording is an exact match to one I recorded 7 years prior to this video, so I know some of them are from a creature that lives in the wild, and my recording was not likely known to this guys neighbor. I've heard other captures of a bark in the MRP recordings from Michigan. My thoughts are that a hoaxer wouldn't likely come up with so many different vocals , including a whoop if he was just a neighbor trying to mess with him. My thoughts are that BF undoubtedly spends time around canines, and they adopt certain vocals and behaviors as a means to manipulate or cooperate with other wildlife.

  3. The biggest take-away from this topic is the lack of a body. If these animals did exist during US operations in-country, the best question to ask is how they could throw rocks with impunity at armed-to-the-teeth troops in a free fire zone and not even one gets greased? Or the fact that Charlie couldn't wing one either? What does this say about the probabilities of any civilian hunter getting a realistic chance? To believe these accounts is to believe that the animal eluded the most well trained, well armed and most experienced and ruthless group of jungle fighters the world has probably ever seen. IF that is true, it makes a pretty dismal prediction for the success of the pro-kill contingent, am I right?

  4. Unfortunately, southernyahoo, I think this video was debunked as a hoax. If I'm remembering correctly, the second half of the video was the neighbor messing with him after he found the game cam. When the man asked him how he managed to scream so loud in the beginning of the video, turns out that the hoaxer had no idea what he was talking about and didn't do the first set of screams, but confessed to the second set of grunts and barks.

  5. Listen to this one at 5:33 in. That one is not a canine.

  6. Evidence does not equal proof. It never has. Evidence is the offering of information that helps to provide a basis for conclusion. Whether that conclusion is reached is subject to interpretation. Let's take the OJ case. Was there evidence? Yes, there was plenty of evidence presented to the court. Was there proof? Ask the jury.

  8. Some of the stories are compelling, such as the Dennis Martin case. The witnesses saw a Bear packing a boy over its shoulder. Bears do not have shoulders..... Either way? Is there evidence of cannibalism in the fossil record? Yes. Do Chimpanzees kidnap small children? Yes they do. Do Chimpanzees hunt monkeys? Yes. Do humans eat Chimpanzees? Yup. So IF a large apeman resides in our forests? What is the precedent of what we do know? Would Bigfoot take advantage of a situation of a lone human in its territory? I would say? Most definitely!
