  2. I have three {3} of Rene Dahindan's Sasquatch brochures left. After these are gone, they are only in personal collections. And, these brochures, which are "Mad Magazine" humorous, rarely show for auction. I traded some things to Larry Lund, the owner of of Rene's last box, for the ones I have, maybe 10 years ago. So, if you donate $100 to the forum's fund raising, you will get a copy. Please note, I have attached these brochures to a copy of my book "The Oregon Bigfoot Highway" on an auction house for about $25 plus shipping. So, I guess I'll include a copy of the book But again, when this last one is gone, it is gone. Next, I will cancel the auction. And, if sold, I will keep the last two copies for my purposes. Joe here Oh, forgot: I'll add a signed copy of Dr. R. Jones book, Tracking the Stoneman, West Virginia's BF. Let's meet our goal. This is a great site, let's keep it that way. { In memory of Bobbie Short and her site, "Bigfoot Encounters."} Long live Dear Bobbie in the here after.

  3. Hi all, I'm new to this forum but I've been hiking the Oregon and Washington woods since the late 60's. I had my first experience in 1975 on the eastern side of the Olympic National Forest near the Mildred Lakes area. I've been interested in the subject ever since.

  5. My very best Christmas wishes for all!! I was hiking along the Hairyman Highway, aka power lines, and ran across this Juniper that was struck by lighting, pretty amazing sight the way it was burned from the inside out.

  7. According to anthropaleontologists, all of them. You see, since all homo sapiens have Neanderthal, Denosovan, and at least two mystery markers in our genetic makeup, the moment the first homo sapien stepped or floated across what is now the international date line, Neanderthal, Denosovan, and those mystery markers came with them. Those genetic markers were only discovered recently, but as soon as they were, from wherever on Earth, they were simultaneously discovered in the New World, too.

  8. Good way to overstep someone's boundaries with consequences to pay. If someone pulled that on me, I'd lead them away from potential witnesses, then either ditch them in deep woods or ambush them. The choice would come down to which sort of location I found first. My advice is to be very cautious of assuming you will be the one choosing how the things you start will end. But .. ive been ignored before. MIB
