That red heat bloom looked totally artificial to me. Too concentrated and too round to be an animal. It and the deer in the same image make me think it is something other than any animal. My program guide was wrong about the 2 hour main event. It listed it as new but it was last week. Unless the blob is some heat source they had no idea was out there, it got me wondering if it was something created by someone Bryce close but never present during incidents bothers me. Hold a metal garbage can cover, heat the backside with a propane torch, and you have a bright red spot, with indistinct legs below it. Then when the actors look like they might be approaching, kill the torch and slip away. Then I got thinking about all the events that have happened during the show. In just over one week they have ticked off nearly every event ever associated with bigfoot. Thermal image of something large, Orbs floating nearby, Electrical equipment failure. Association of bigfoot with a cemetary. A nest or nests. The red blob simply disappearing (as if turned off) Howls. Whistles. Feeling of being watched. Infrasound attack. Have they missed a single thing? Oh yes, did they show us teepee structures? How is all that that possible in just over a week. In 15 years in the field I have never seen half of that stuff. Their footprint finds are questionable at best. other than that and their imagination as to the source of distant calls, I have seen nothing concrete. I think the screen actors have been hoaxed. That is as kind as I can be to them. Flying the drone into a tunnel or mine and not expecting to loose control because of radio signal loss is rediculus. Mineralization in mines messes up metal detectors too. Then to turn around and blame that on bigfoot is par for the course. They find the mines and the next day arrange to have a special drone to explore it? The only way that could have happened was that Bryce knew about what was there and prearranged to have the drone available after the mine was found. Bryce is literally the wizard of Oz controlling things behind the curtain in this TV series.2 points

I thought the final episode was terrible. Kudos to 7.62 who I think had it correct when he said he thought their thermal imager was a Pulsar Accolade. I had someone who is an expert in thermals look at the video and say it was a Pulsar for sure and, given it native magnification of 2.5, likely an XP50. I originally thought Russell had two thermals--the one on the tripod and the binoculars. Now, I'm convinced he only had the binoculars as that unit can accommodate a tripod and can also link with a smart phone which we saw him do. Did you catch near the end they said they've found another location their data analytics have determined looks promising. Can we say season two?2 points

My wife and I have had "something" throw rocks at us, found possible footprints, heard strange sounds we couldn't identify, and while camping woke up on two seperate occasions to mysterious hand prints on our car (one was enormous). And my wife was once touched by "something" through the car window in the early morning hours. Still, we've never actually seen one, so none of our experiences are actually conclusive. Hopefully some day!2 points

Here are a couple of sites that I have provided before: https://bigfootforums.com/topic/9734-scariest-sasquatch-encounters-youve-readheard/?do=findComment&comment=118212 By the way, this incident, if true, is one of my favorites. I do recall that some years ago, it was being questioned as to whether it actually occurred or not. I do not remember what the consensus was. Unfortunately, the FAL thread is gone although the site is still around, I seem to remember it was pretty good. And it does not appear to have been captured by the Wayback Machine, what a shame... The other two are still up, but have not been updated in some time. But both provide some good reading for late at night in a darkened room....1 point

Lamplight Did you take pictures of these handprints that were on your car? Stuff like this would make one wonder what visited your camp site . I know when I had my encounters I was all over the area looking for prints and looking to see from they had entered and left our camp site. We even knew where they were standing watching us as we all sat around the camp fire talking. What makes it even more odd is how they were able to move through the night watching us from tree to tree. The only way that we knew they were there was my pit bull barking in their direction. He was tied to a tree. We took video of the tracks and their foot prints which was on BFF1.0 which is lost on their transfer from servers. I have posted way more stuff on these creatures which some how has been lost on the transfer of Data from server to server on the BFF. But that is in the past. I look more forward to the future and what it might bring. 7.62 I have always carried out in the field. I carry a .45 cal concealed and a 12 gauge Mossberg in the open. The 12 gauge I have it loaded with a slug , 00 ,slug, 00. slug, 00. My next gun might be a SMG 45 where I can conceal it in my back pack and only pull it out when I get into trouble with these crappers. CQB and this is how I practice . I have had four in my face encounters with two real scary moments where I thought I was not going to make it out of the woods. I have already PM you about my one moment that I cannot talk about in public. I have seen a small orange colored fuzzy hair creature waving it's arms at me while I had knocks on three different sides of me. All this happened while hunting out of a ground blind. Also this does not include the mind thing I did while I sat on my deer stand in the evening hours before darkness. Then do it again since I did not believe the first one in a ground blind. You figure that I would of stopped but I have not and why not? Because I love the rush you get from the encounters. Now I have not been able to get that rush. So now I feel lost.1 point

Might be best not to wait that long then. Fire at will in defiance and just remember to save one for yourself. Hmmm.... "I know what you're thinking: 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"- Dirty Harry1 point

HAH! Now I know how to look cool, dangerous, and all business-like for cheap Why, I could have a grip poking out of every pocket for under 5 bucks!. Only my local friendly neighborhood Sasquatch would know for sure. On the other hand, how sucky would it be to get pistol-whipped by a Bigfoot with a plastic toy gun? Hopefully, if it ever happens, the toy would break before he kills me1 point

Yep, hot thread is right. Smart folks on the BFF! My thinking? Dr. Mayor didn't respond because she knows the show is a staged affair. Such as: Producer: "I want to make a show about discovering Sasquatch." Madison Avenue: "Great, but you you're not allowed to discover it in the first season. In fact, you're not allowed to discover it at all." Producer: "Why not?" Madison Avenue: "Don't be stupid." Harsh? Yeah, it's harsh, it's meant to be. My sarcastic, retrospective, use of the word "promising". IOW, the first season wasn't promising, it only promised more carrots. That's because they aren't allowed to show that footage Probably because even though she's playing the game, she's smarter than the rest. So........for the kids, or for herself1 point

Oh yes I missed listing the eye shine and twist offs. There is little that they did not find other than seeing a bigfoot being tractor beamed in and out of a hovering UFO. When my research area was most active, I never saw one snap off. Bryce seemed to have some sort of pride of authorship with his red blob. He seemed surprised that the primatologist did not dismiss it outright. Since that did not happen, if the series continues, we will see that same disappearing red blob again. Oh I thought I saw the hand grip of a side arm sticking out of Mayors pack at one point. She probably felt she needed it because of the other actors.1 point

Yeah but you don't have to lug all those toys around and require a NASCAR stump jumper for show. I think they should get closer to Idaho State next year, like in Jeff Meldrum's parking space.1 point

I just hope they don't come to this side of the state! Don't need them messing with my locations! Hey, I think that's my modus operandi!1 point

My DVR only recorded the one hour show at the regular time, just finished watching it and honestly had a hard time staying awake. So, they find this cinnabar mine and have big drama because Dr. Mayor and Ronny are out of touch. So they are very concerned about contamination, paralysis, etc., and the next big theory is, bigfoot is hiding out in this mine. Am I missing something here, is bigfoot immune to mercury poisining? Found a blog about looking for abandoned cinnabar mines in Oregon here: https://nostoneunturnedadventures.com/2015/10/22/ochoco-forest-oregon-cinnabar-mines/ You can view it from above, below and inside. One of the things I found most interesting was the nests. There were nests of every shape and size and in every possible corner. You can see them in the door picture above. The only evidence of wildlife I saw though was a little mouse, packrat, chipmunk, squirrel, looking at me from a rafter above. He seemed way too small to have made this… First photo (monochrome) is of the door with nest above, second (color) is the larger nest mentioned.1 point

I was extremely surprised that they were so shocked to find an old settlement/houses/cemetery and mines. I have come across old foundations and cemeteries in the woods. Shouldn't have been such a big mystery to them. I also couldn't believe they were crawling into the mine without masks/respirators, gloves, etc. I was disappointed with the show, they seem like nice people though. The equipment malfunctions were interesting. I had been wondering what would happen to the drone, I would have tied a string to it for retrieval. Also, the skull in the swamp, was that so unusual? I wouldn't think it outstandingly odd.1 point

Hiflier, we are an not a regulatory agency, if USFS deems it worthy, then USGS would be all over it. Here is the deal.............USGS is a non regulatory agency, meaning we can explore creatures on the moon..............................if the funding is there... USFS, NPS, they need jusification to fund us...........when that jusification is met, funding comes to us in the form of discrecinary funds, meaning we can pursue their agenda, based on their priorties. We have really no say in this, god could come on earth, but we would still need to have OMB , departmential approval before we even left the building, \ look, there is NO conspiracy within DOI, Now, Dept of AG, out of my league Think about it. DOI NPS, they just manage their parks, no capacity or labs to handle a body USFW, manage their refuges, no capacity either USGS, we are more Chemistry based, ecological based, we are not up to studying large creatures Likely canidate here in LA, LA Fish and Wild Life. If someone dropped a body off at our USGS Center, the admin would freak out, the limited knowledge scientists in house would call our local university1 point

A white female German Shepherd and a male Siberian husky. About 170 pounds of dog. Neither of them really reacted in any way. The husky is a sweaty but the Shepherd is not very friendly with strangers or other animals. If I recall, the shepherd was off leash but right beside me. When it started I immediately put her on the lead and all 3 of us looked up the hill towards the scream. When it ended it was dead silent minus the rustling of a squirrel. The dogs didn't really seem to care. In a related note my wife and I heard some screaming back and forth Saturday while walking the dogs in a different location. It was probably 1/4 mile away and on the other side of a river so it was not clear. Honestly could not identify the sound but it was pretty cool in that it seemed like it was back and forth between two locations. It was one of those times where the brain registers something, you are not sure what so you focus the brain for a moment. Nothing happens and you move on and then it happens again and you are like ...really??, ...what is that so you hold your focus for longer. I caught the 3rd and 4th scream more clearly and asked my wife if she heard it and she caught the last one. Cool moment.1 point

This is a repost of my 43 year old sighting- experience. We weren't doing Jack Daniels, dope or shrooms ................................. just dead tired after cutting 4 cords of wood and stacking it in our truck. We did this by hand and and with no gas wood splitter. We were good ol native Oregonian mountain men working in the beautiful forest. I'm still trying to figure what caused me to snap awake, stare into the woods, and look into the face of some unknown animal looking back at us. I don't remember noise or anything but automatic wake up and look. Maybe infrasound? What do you think? It's a good thing there were two of us since I think some bigfoots pick off single warm blooded people in the woods on rare occasions. My friend and I went wood cutting in the Butte Falls area that is North of Medford, Oregon. This was around 1977. Bigfoot was not a consideration for me or my partner, Bill. We cut up fire wood all day until we dropped, and spread out our tarp and plopped our sleeping bags down for a night’s sleep. It was a warm summer night in the open forest with tall trees spread all over. We were on the forest floor that was flat ground with tall fir and hemlock trees with some brush here and there. Something woke me up. I looked across this clearing to this dimly lit, huge fallen log about forty feet away. This hair covered creature is behind the log staring at me. It has no big fuzzy ears like a bear. A Black Bear has a flat head and long snout, and this animal had a cone shaped head and no snout. This animal had broad shoulders much wider than a bear. Only the top one fourth of its body was showing since the log blocked the rest of the view. Having no fear still puzzles me to this day and writing about this event helps. I'm late in replying on this. I recognize your track photo without even looking at the report; that's the Mt. Baldy track in Broadwater Co. Mont. I know I've mentioned the report a couple of times in the past. It's a very compelling report. When I read the report. I couldn't see any way the tracks could have been faked by a person. They were clean tracks, no drag marks, went diagonally uphill in a single line; the hunter had to leap just to match the estimated 5 ft. stride length; they were 15 miles from the nearest road, which was a dirt road, in a rough, remote area at 7,500 ft. where the hunter said he had never seen another human. He also states he knows the tracks weren't made by snowshoes.1 point

Well, rather than focus on proving, you can focus on understanding, so that when someone does prove existence, you can answer the followup questions like how, why, when, what. MIB1 point

well if you followed what I said, all kinds of noises are possible. Whether that matches what was experienced or recalled or believed to have been experienced is up to the interpreter - but probably not accurate. I don't believe you have any such perfectly aligned evidence nor did you try to understand what an auditory hallucination is. Sometimes a 5 second web search to confirm your tired attempt at baiting will work wonders before responding.-1 points
