  1. You're right it does depend on the dog and his health . My shepherd stuck to me like glue , I spent a long time on training and my job allowed me to have him with me all the time. He ( my shepherd )trained my Husky . He stays with me just like my shepherd did. I have never used a leash on him unless it's a vet visit .

  2. I suppose it depends on the dog! Mine stays home, for the most part, though he found a sasquatch where we didn't expect, and I don't know if it would have revealed itself if my doggo hadn't smelled him. My old man - he's 12, slowing down, losing his eyesight and in the past six months he's gone deaf. He's basically a couch potato now. Maybe the next dog will get out more.

  3. Wow. I just checked. 105,000 subscribers. And he releases videos constantly. That has to be some serious YouTube coin...

  4. He's not. Beansbaxter said this a few posts ago..."Back on topic....I hate to by cynical but it's impossible anymore. I'm guessing his goal or big reveal or whatever it is he's working toward is going to cost around $5.99 a month." Beans is guessing that the Steve's big reveal is going to be a monthly fee podcast or something. Nothing definitive yet, just going by what the other folks who get name recognition in the field do. I am still of the opinion that Steve, Paulides, Carpenter, et al are going to try to develop a higher profile nationwide research group like the BFRO, but based around the Ketchum study and Paulides/Carpenter's views on Bigfoot. Paulides gets a lot of attention...and Steve is blowing up on YouTube right now.

  5. It has it's cool factor for sure but it's nice to have a stock , just my opinion when it comes to shotguns . That doesn't mean I won't own one soon but agree it's easy to pack if that is one of his considerations

  6. I'm pretty much in agreement. I do not think he is out for money. He's said many times (paraphrasing) that he wants bigfoot acknowledged so people traumatized by their experiences and by others responses to their experience are validated and can get the help they need. I'll take him at face value 'til he shows otherwise. My guess is he has the delusional belief that if he can get enough "groundswell" behind him, he can force the US or Canadian government to acknowledge bigfoot. (A bit like hiflier has tried to do here but on a grander scale.) I think he's kidding himself. I think one of these days his big event is going to be ... crickets. Maybe I'll be wrong. Time will tell. MIB

  7. Welcome! Be sure to check out our thread on the Howtohunt YouTube channel. I am sure that I speak for at least a few other members when I say that we would be interested in your journey from skeptic to believer as a result of Steve's videos.

  9. UT to E PA in 3.5 days, not much time to look around. E WY was 5° and blowing 50mph so hotel it was. Arriving in MO around 9pm found a nice spot to park the Rover in a field along one of the Muddy Creeks, a lot of coyote and some great horned owl activity during the night but no MOMO. Following night I was 10 mi S of Salt Fork SP in OH, stashed in a stubbly corn field by about 11pm. Walked the treeline along its S border and loitered for a while listening to the brook babbling down in the the thickets beneath the oaks, no Ohio Grassman to my knowledge. 11. It's stunning to me how beautiful parts of America can be. Mountains, lakes, streams and valleys. I can't imagine living in a flat part of the country. Undoubtedly it has its own beauty but the mountains are so unique and bring a majesty to that which we see and experience. Where I live the mountains are much smaller than Montana or Colorado but they are stunningly beautiful. Tough, rugged, and when you hike up a mountain, it is straight up and over. No such thing as a switchback. Thanks for sharing Norse!

  12. Fed this morning and discovered the first calf of the year! I then took a drive over to Sullivan lake and Boundary dam. The boat launch is open at the dam. The pend oreille river is mainly free of ice. Sullivan lake on the other hand is iced in hard. It snowed on me and was socked in good. Not alot of pictures opportunities.

  14. He could be near perfect. He is in arguably the best real estate and armed to boot. Dont get me wrong, I wanna like the guy. But just talking about Bigfoot with the Cascades as a back drop? Meh.

  16. I want a type specimen so that the animal can be protected, maybe even a couple in my local zoo would be really cool.
