  1. It depends on the province. Here in BC I can, however that is not the case in other provinces. So provinces use hunting regulations to prohibit the carrying of firearms at different times of year or day, or even who can carry them I sometimes carry a 44mag ranch hand with a full stock, we can also carry shotguns with an 8 inch barreĺ. Of course you have to have a PAL but that really isn't hard for most people to bet

  3. PPE does have an expiration date, not sure about the government selling masks as surplus unless it was for that reason. It's called denial, we started hearing about this in November. I remember talking with my family about it and I just assumed by the time it got over here we would have a vaccine developed like we did so quickly for H1N1. I had read on one of the more reliable research web sites that this was going to be done after it dies down because we need a baseline of how many people were exposed to make those kinds of decisions instead of paralyzing entire countries if it sweeps through again. I don't think we will ever truly know how many passed as a result of this infection.

  4. Bipedalist that OSA is no joke, I know. A few years ago I kept feeling worse and worse, suspecting heart or other issues due to family history, but tests kept coming back normal. Long story short a smart Dr asked the missus about my sleep habits, ordered a sleep study and mostly all better now . FWIW,i highly recommend the "So Clean " cpap cleaning device. other wise even with washing I kept a upper respiratory infection on/off before getting the so clean unit

  5. I work in trucking. We do a lot of medical supplies. We have been deemed an essential operation by the government so we do not get effected by shutdowns. Prior to this all going down my boss was in Europe, Italy and Spain to be specific so he has made it back stateside this week but is in quarantine. That leaves me in charge of the entire show as I"m #2 for the company. We are a cross country carrier so on a daily basis I have to interact with drivers that are just coming back from runs across the country. We service Maine to California. God bless these drivers for being on the front line and willing to drive and deliver anywhere in the country despite fears. So far we have had 2 employees that are awaiting results, they have come back negative for FLU so Corona test is next, they most likely have it given the symptoms. We have strict cleaning regiment we have to perform every 2 hours and we have to wash our hands at least once every 30 mins. I've had to balance my week between calming down scared employees, running the operations, and on conference calls and meetings about what we do next. I have to do my best to keep this thing going, I have a lot of drivers, warehouse workers and office staff that need their paychecks as long as they can. Plus we are delivering things to hospitals that are necessary to operate. I"m both mentally and emotionally worn out tonight, and I cant go see my gf because I dont want to expose her to anything. I go to work and come home trying to interact with the "public" as little as possible. I hate the idea that I could be a carrier that does not show symptoms and could be spreading it at stores or gas stations but I need to keep doing what I can as long as I can to move essential items and keep my people paid as long as possible. Stay safe out there people.

  6. From CNN, 8 minutes ago. OH, THE COURAGE!! "As medical workers in Italy struggle to treat patients with coronavirus, a large number of them have contracted the virus themselves. Seventeen doctors have died from Covid-19 and there are a total of 3,654 medical staff who are infected, according to the country's National Health Institute." I am almost in tears.....
