  1. No, Hiflier You are not wrong for forgiving his debt. The problem that we all have in this world is that the day that we are born we are in debt. We cannot escape it and this is how it was meant to be. But that's not what this thread is about or how this world is being run. It is about spending time out in the woods. I have been wanting to do this now for awhile but have been put on hold due to this crisis. This virus situation has place my son and I on hold from going out into the wilderness. Especially when I have just brought a new tent that I have been wanting to try. It is a tent with a stove that sits inside the tent that is to keep you warm in the winter time. I have a 20' camper that is very much comfortable but I love to rough it out with a tent. I love to back pack it into areas and take chances and see what takes place. But most of all is to spend the time with my son and to see what he is made of. Everytime we camp together I learn more about him. I have taken him to the shooting range so that he can get use to handling my pistols. I have taught him the safety of proper handling of firearms. He has taken the hunting safety course in the state Of Michigan. So now we partner up when we go out and scout and hunt. So in a way we do our own Bigfoot adventures as well as our own hunting adventures. Soon I will have my grandson joining us and that will bring great joy. My tribe is growing and we will all be hunter gathers like we were in our past.

  2. No I didn't read the whole thread Thanks As I said, on another post he is only new to guys like you (sasquatch researchers) He has been beating this drum for well over a decade on the BC hunting forum. Although he seems to have ramped thing up a few notches over the last few months. His belief or non-belief in sasquatch wouldn't make any difference to the vast majority of people looking for a guide, and most foreign hunters booking a guide have probably never seen his videos. Since BC banned the grizzly hunt, his services as a guide would have dropped and I would bet he is making up some of that lost revenue through his YouTube videos

  4. All of our outings have been on hold due to the recent CV 19 scare. Work has pretty much consumed my time lately... barely been able to jump on the forum. Hopefully, things will normalize soon. Itching to get out there into the woods again!

  5. I’d so do a shark cage! I want the Meg if the cage can handle it! Lol My one encounter I believe to be a BF was middle of the day.

  6. I don't think they are primarily nocturnal unless they are in an area with a lot of human activity. I found in my research area on weekends when there were a lot of people in the area, nothing ever happened. During the week was when I had contact or they messed with me. Most of the time during the week I never saw anyone else. I have never done night research. Having seen all the episodes of Jaws, you could never get me in a shark cage with Great Whites in the area.

  7. Twist it is pretty hard to get a clear picture when think you have to look after dark. The brain trust at the BFRO think that BF are primarily nocturnal. The best that they can hope for is a brief glimpse on a FLIR camera. I cannot figure out how a group that accepts the P/G film as authentic, turns around and preaches that BF are nocturnal, when Patty was photographed in the middle of the day.

  8. I don't know what spring brings. Likely not too much. My spots are above 6000 feet and have 5-7 feet of snow right now. In past years the bigfoots don't seem to appear 'til later August and I see no reason that will change this year. I would like to hike in as soon as the snow is off and put up cameras in a couple new "sub-spots" I have located within the 5-6 mile diameter area I've focused on. The camp visitor the 2nd night in 2011 came up a ridge which leads right to the swamp which seems to be the bullseye, center of mass for all activity. I want to put up a camera on that ridge and another in a small meadow just off of the ridge. Both are a couple miles off trail where people just don't go. If I can get that done early, then I want to spend later June and all of July near that area, but not in it, looking to see if I can figure out where the BFs come from before they arrive, then repeat that in late September and October to see if I can figure out where they are going to when they leave. I would like to be able to pattern their annual travel so I can focus in the right places at each point in the year. Yep, you do just have to put yourself out there. What a great place to be, though, even without bigfoots. MIB

  9. I hear ya!! My employment insurance will cover my rent, but I stand a good chance of having utilities cut off and my truck repo'd.
