  1. Before Finding Bigfoot, I think quite a few people got resistance from family or friends as the subject matter was treated as taboo. I think Finding Bigfoot, more than any other source, lifted the dark cloud and made the subject of bigfooting acceptable in today's discourse. I believe the entertainment value to non-bigfooters helped to lighten the subject matter making it much easier for them to scratch beneath the surface and consider things. I see far more tee-shirts, signs, bric-a-brac, and the referencing of bigfoot after FB than before. I think that's progress.

  2. I knew Bill/BigFootHunter well, having served as one of his tour guides for 3 summers, and will miss him greatly. I considered him a mentor and a friend, as well as a nice guy to work with. It was troubling to see his ongoing battles with a number of health issues, which took a sharp turn for the worse last summer. I had hoped for his return to BC this year, but that was unfortunately not to be. In addition to the Sasquatch research referred to in the above posts, Bill was also a pretty accomplished guitar player and singer, and knowledgeable in several fields that his quest for the truth about this cryptid led him into. His passion for the subject was unbounded. The village of Harrison Hot Springs, and his circle of friends here will be a lesser world without him.

  3. I came across a beaver dam in a very small pond created by these engineering wonders. There is a creek which flows into it and one that flows out of it. I put a trailcam on both ends and should capture anything that enters the creek area. We'll see.

  4. There is a section of track along the Columbia River, I am not sure if it is the Oregon or Washington side where bigfoot sightings are supposed to be common. I guess BF feels comfortable showing themselves there because the trains never stop like a car would. I-84 East of Portland, at mile marker 27 has a lot of sightings too. Some conjecture that BF swim the Columbia there because it is the narrowest place in the area.
