  1. I have a couple of colleagues that live in downtown Chicago - literally less than a mile off of the Magnificent Mile. They have walked out of their condo in the morning only to see a coyote curled up in the flower pot outside. Kinda creepy. They say the creature was also pretty small, they estimated less than 50 lbs (but to be far they are not folks that grew up with coyotes howling in the night like I did in eastern Nebraska) https://www.npr.org/local/309/2020/01/24/798993032/there-are-up-to-4-000-coyotes-in-the-chicago-area-but-experts-say-don-t-approach-them#:~:text=t Approach Them-,There Are Up To 4%2C000 Coyotes In The Chicago Area,Say Don't Approach Them&text=A coyote that attacked two, living in the Chicago area.

  2. Freak I am, cuz I prefer Pepsi and pan pizza, but in reality, I hate soda. The only reason I chose Pepsi is because the census wouldn't allow me to pass on the question. Pizza should be consumed with dark beer or red wine.

  3. Yeah. That's what I thought. The tracks that we found looked more like the foot on the right, but broader. Toes were thicker and splayed a bit. Btw, do yourself a favor and don't google 'four toed feet'.

  4. Tree across the Barnaby Butte trailhead rd. Think I will go in in morning and cut it out and take off on ebike. Glassed one mulie buck bedding down on top from road. Snow was patchy on top. Suppose to get more on sunday.

  5. @BlackRockBigfoot before I finished reading your post with the pics, I was thinking...looks like a bad cartoon and then you mentioned the cartoon look as well. Almost over exaggerated for a "wow" effect.

  7. Thanks, Kiwakwe and PNWexplorer, for your input on the tire question. I've got quotes on the BFG KO2, General Grabber ATX, and the Hercules Terra Trac AT from a highly recommended local shop that installs and balances for the same price as you'd pay for just the tires, online. Since our dollar is currently worth about 75 cents US, the prices reflect that, so I'm looking at $250 to $300 each for any of them, in the 33" size that I need. All of these have the tri-peak snowflake symbol, which makes them legal for winter use here in BC. Almost all my off pavement driving is mountain logging roads, which are mostly gravel and rock depending on state of repair, but seldom mud, so an AT is what I need. I've eliminated the cheapest of those, the Hercules, after seeing some negative feedback regarding sidewall failures, but I haven't looked into the Falkens yet, so I guess that's my homework for tonight.
