  1. Up a little ways N yesterday for some bog trotting in an area about centrally located between 2 sightings of very differently described creatures, tall, lanky reddish haired adult with shorter assumed juvenile crossing the road and a dark colored, stout individual sighted from a canoe as it stepped up onto a shoreline boulder. About 20 miles apart as the crow flies. Didn't see any BF sign but plenty of color and Northern Pitcher plant: walking old woods roads, giant lichen/moss covered glacial erratics back in here along with old bear tracks crossed a few streams on the way, this was the only misty one: Ran video a bit of the drive out for the hail mary road crossing...

  2. This morning I went to an area I go to on occasion that is a hair south of one of my favorite places. It has ponds, steep hills, and lots of wildlife. I was poking around areas that were wet and came upon one area where I saw a print. It was mostly submerged but had the classic footprint shape. I took several pictures of it which I've included below. As you will see, there is a lot of leaf litter this time year so prints are not as clearly defined as they would without leaves. I spent a fair amount of time trying to find other prints and think I may have seen another one but it had more compressed debris making print edges very difficult to discern. The first print I found looks fairly long but there being so much water I can't know for sure that it wasn't both a front and back bear print. Whatever it was, it was very interesting.

  3. My dad has hunted Siberian Brown bears. He was flown into the base camp via an ancient helicopter, then they took a zodiac across a lake to a spot. He got one. He has hunted on nearly every continent and still dismisses the whole Bigfoot thing.

  4. I bought a new knife, a low end Marttiini. It's really nice.

  5. Just a bit north/northeast of there is where my wife and I saw our first suspect tree structures. Just west of there is where she got touched through our car window by "something", and the next morning there was a very large handprint on our car.

  6. It may now seem ludicrous for a Bigfoot to be living on the outskirts of Vancouver, Seattle, Portland or San Francisco. Huntster and I have both talked about SE Alaska being probably one of the last great places. But there is a place that trumps all other places. Siberia. Vast. Unexplored. Where natives still move with Reindeer herds. Much of it is bitter cold. But surely there are coastal areas not unlike North America. I came across a video of a supposed mammoth crossing a river. Hoax? Maybe. But some fossils are mere thousands of years old. What if? I think for me the lure of cryptids is to go find the end of the road and explore what’s beyond. If there is something left out there? This may well be the place to go look. And Larch trees are my favorite tree, especially in fall. Now. Beautiful.

  7. There are those who believe giant sloths occasionally roam, at the tip of South America.

  8. 2nd video looks animated. The first is strange. Slow movement. How cool would that be? Would be up there with BF...and make you wonder what other megafauna could be out there?

  10. All right, it's time to organize a BFF field trip to Siberia. Or at least Kamchatka. Huntster can almost see it from his window! (I kid).

  12. That looks very much like the Peace River area of NE B.C. and NW Alberta. The vegetation, tea coloured water, and iffy roads are just like that.

  13. There could be anything there. They are busting out of the Hollow Earth. ETA... Jesus. That was a joke, people. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.deseret.com/platform/amp/u-s-world/2020/9/5/21422856/siberia-myster-holes-climate-change
