  2. So I've got some updates on the investigation area. It ranges 3 hollows that share a central ridge. Ive not been updating here because the work in this area actually captured the attention of some folks and we have kept a lot of stuff under our hats. That ridge has multiple abandoned mine openings, multiple streams, 2 creeks, and loads of avilable food sources. Unfortunately theres still some data thats been gathered that im not able to share but will be very public in the coming months. Ive still got until early spring I believe before everyone knows EXACTLY where this area is so im going to continue making the best of it while it's still kinda quiet. I did publish my map over in field trips 2.0 if anyone wants to look, you can get a head start on the rest of the world, at least on the cluster of active areas. Were working on setting up some recording devices now, there has already been audio captured but I'm hopeing to get some that i can share here soon that are unrelated to the project I was involved in with the area. I understand this has all been kinda vague and shadowed a bit but its been a wild year so far. This area has now yeilded multiple casts, multiple encounters with as few as 1 and as many as 14 witnesses. We have also had 2 visuals, one of which was with Jon, the guy who had the encounter that got me back into this area after years of thinking the area had died down. We, both along with another guy saw the back of the head and left shoulder of a large bi-pedal creature rushing off into the thickets. I may start a new thread for the continued research of this area.

  3. Not a good one. My buddy is a pro. He could ask any price. So I hope to learn some things! He built me a knife. Beautiful. But didn’t fit my paw.

  5. It was very nice. I had moments of service while I was up on the ridges. Other than that, I was completely disconnected from Sat AM to today at about 2pm. Didn't once check the news when I did have service...just checking in on the wife and kids...and bragging to my Dad about being the best whitetail hunter between the two of us! Editing to add...we were pretty far out there and remote. I walked a lot of ground, ridges, hollers, etc. Had a moment of freakout when my headlamp went out in the pitch black opening morning as soon as my SxS ride dropped me off...but it was hard imagining a 6 to 8ft hairy man/ape running around in the woods, what it would act like, what it would do all day, etc. I tried...but I struggled with it.

  7. Yes. Had quite the opening day. I decided to come back and spend the balance of week with family rather than at camp. Couldn't shoot another buck if I wanted and the odds of me seeing a black bear are slim. Another member of the group took a rushed shot and missed. She's probably in the Carolinas by now! This way my deer are already at the processor and I'll have them back before I head home without waiting around for meat. Successful trip.

  8. Well, since we're all putting up pictures of when we were young 'uns. Penn State ROTC 80-84 timeframe. My wife has asked me where I've buried this body as my six pack is now behind a keg or two.....

  9. I was very surprised to find that the 1941 Chapman/Ruby Creek incident that Thomas Steenburg talks about was not in the SSR. I've fixed that tonight... https://bigfootforums.com/topic/72314-british-columbia-fraser-valley-oct-1941-report-1000009-ruby-creek-chapman-incident/

  10. There are more videos from this same presentation. I've gotten through about 2 of them so can't attest to overall quality of all. Christopher Murphy Ron Morehead Paul Graves Ryan Leisinger Gene Baade
