  1. Really curious about this! I'm an old timer who never found Bigfoot and I absolutely love that description. It was in a recent edited post. Was at Bluff Creek in 1972 and lived in Oregon through the 70's. Ordered Roger Patterson's book back in high school. Anybody else have a copy? And of course all of John Green's books. Looking back a great time in my life. Never found anything at Bluff Creek, actually stayed at Happy Camp for a month. Only able to check out one report while in Oregon that I thought it was credible. Would love to hear about how many other people were active back then. Such a different world today. Also seems like some of the best evidence came from back then even if you don't include the Patterson film. Really thought back then that the answer would finally be known by now. But after all these years still nothing. We can only hope!

  2. What self-respecting sasquatcher would not want to be combing the forest of the Pacific Northwest? I'd be thrilled to be there for a weekend much less regularly. It's Mecca and Medina rolled into one. The rest of us squeeze every last drop of energy, and focus, into areas we have identified as being hopefully productive. Sometimes it works out but most of the time it doesn't. Short of the PNW, it's a numbers game. Get out, be active, work the area, and hope for the best. Thomas Jefferson famously said, "I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it." I agree wholeheartedly.

  3. Yes but Meldrum and Bindernagel courted him (Standing) as well? And Stroud was testing the experts on camera. That’s not the same as a hoax.

  4. I carry an Adventure Medical Sportsman 400 medical kit in my vehicle. It's enough for 10 people for 14 days. I want overkill for medical supplies. I carry a smaller Adventure Medical kit with an added Quikclot Trauma Kit in my pack, along with a CAT tourniquet. If you are looking to get a Quikclot Trauma Kit to carry, I just found a vendor selling them for 17 bucks and change on Walmart.com with free shipping. This usually run about 36 bucks. It's well worth the cost to purchase and the size/weight to carry... especially if you are going out into remote areas alone. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Adventure-Medical-Kits-Trauma-Pak-First-Aid-Kit-with-QuikClot-Sponge/21979854?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=16954

  6. You sure are judgmental for content your asking for.... I watched it. And that is how I KNOW he has taught Bigfooters proper specimen collection as well as completely novel ways to collect DNA. Fast forward through the drama..... Or don’t.

  7. The Travel channel on Dish has been running Survivorman BIgfoot segments. They are old and have some content with Todd Standing. Stroud spent over $1000 having a movie company make some expensive stompers. That really ticks me off in that it demonstrates that it is possible to produce quality fakes and brings into questtion anything found. Stroud showed them to Meldrum and Bindernagel without identifying them as fakes until Meldum noticed that the prints were mirror image of each other. Meldrum was visibly angry. I would put Stroud on my list of people not to trust if I were Meldrum.. Stroud could use a lot of help if he is serious but at this point I would not want to have anything to do with him because of his association with Standing. The company you keep can sure soil your reputation.

  8. That's a show that doesn't deserve watching. It's crap. I'm sure Dr. Todd has pointed out his test strategy in multiple (other) places. It just needs some fine tuning and presentation.
