Noting they said they had identified an area of 75,000 acres, I went to Google Earth and arbitrarily created a 75,000 acre perimeter within which I would look that had the original coordinates near the perimeter line. We all have our methods to search for areas we'd like to look at more carefully. Me--I focus a lot on water sources and especially those sources that have quick access to elevation gain. Remote ponds not easily accessible, marshy areas, or creeks off the beaten path. I also prefer to have an area of interest be at least two miles from the nearest house. There was not one area of interest I could find that met that criteria. The areas I would take a closer look at are circled in purple. The closest one (smallest purple circle) is a tiny pond about 2 miles from that coordinate and 1/3 mile northeast of the power line. The area with the two circles has a good sized pond/small lake and is over 10 miles from the yellow pin. I spent time on Google Earth scouring this area looking for areas of interest and came away feeling blessed I have the areas I do to go sasquatching. I don't find this area remote enough from humanity for my liking. It will be curious which areas they go to.3 points

I've only had the chance to see 3 different times when we've found handprints, but in every one of those, what was strikingly obvious was how dirty the hands were. If I had to categorize them, I'd say they were a very even mix of sand/dirt and maybe a fine amount of smaller particles. Here's a few pics from 2013 when I found our second set in late March while there to open the camper for the first weekend of the season. There were 3 prints: 1 left up high - 2 right prints mid and lower. My impression/opinion is that it came in to try and look into the camper sometime reasonably close in time to my being there, and placed it's hands in such a way to facilitate leaning in to try looking thru the glass. I always leave my vinyl interior window covers down and snapped, so if it was doing this in the day, all it saw was 'black' and likely a reflection of itself as it approached. By choice, I left the handprints untouched for the entire season, and in hindsight, I wish I had periodically taken additional pics to show the rate of decay in the visibility of them, but over the spring, summer and fall, the sand/dirt/mud was gone within a month of two, but up sometime into mid-fall easily, you could look out thru the window and still observe the impression/outline of where a hand had been. I always assumed THAT WAS an oil or substance on the palms that rain and time took much longer to clean off the glass. As an FYI, in the pics with the tape measure being used, it appeared the top-most finger prints that left anything from it's leaning in and resting it's hand was between 80 and 81 inches. All of these photos were taken with a cell phone camera, and back in 2013 I have no clue what I was using. Maybe an LG, but I don't remember the model. It baffles me why I didn't grab my DSLR. I surely had it with me. The other incidents took place in 2010 when a pair of hand prints were placed on my daughter's car over-night and basically shared these same material characteristics of sand/dirt/mud to them. That was the night I found there had been one walk into the shelter area about 15 minutes after we had finally gone in for the night (for good) and it stood over my recorder to sniff it then casually walk back out. The last time we've seen handprints and known it was 2015 <?> I think... when the land owner was doing some clear-cutting in the north woods and his tractor cab glass windows had some partial hand prints and what appeared to be finger smears close to them. Again, just sandy/dirty/muddy.2 points

There are videos on YT with mirrors set up in areas of Africa with varieties of animals. Some recognize themselves and others think it is a rival. Primates are not all smart but I don't think BF (primate or not) is fooled by the glass or playing with it. They seem to like looking into dwellings in general but he just wants the camper out of his area. This scenario with camper rocking and glass slaps on vehicles has played out often enough. They know they leave prints, probably to be annoying. Everything in bigfootery takes money, time, and energy to deal with but if it were my camper or vehicle he is greasing up, I really would like to send a message to them and say, you come near my stuff again and you are getting impaled by a tiki torch. No lie bro. I'm not impressed with your feeble infrasound and wailing, You stank and your woman stanks. Now roll on out of here.1 point

It took the longest time but once the evidence was presented, and the reality sank in, the pitchforks and torch lights began to emerge!1 point

@hiflier ill be making a few different dishes and testing them out. I would assume a larger shallow dish would work as you mentioned. Changing dish shape would therefore " tune" the dish. It'll be something I play with for sure. The table I'm making should allow for a 20in object to be made, so I'll be making various size and depths to mess around with.1 point

Are you of the opinion that a shallower dish would be more capable of picking up the longer wavelengths of lower frequency sources or do you think it matters. It would kind of make physics sense that, no matter the microphone, a deeper, smaller diameter dish would be geared more to the higher ends of the audio spectrum? Similar to why large diaphragm mics are better for low tones as opposed to small diaphragm condensers? The differences would be subtle so I'm only asking if you have a personal opinion regarding dish design. It would seem that larger diameter, shallower dishes would be shaped better for longer wavelengths similar to larger holes in a microwave screen allowing microwaves to escape? So in effect "tuning" the dish?1 point

GuyInDiana, looking (well actually staring) at the right hand print, that doesn't seem consistent with it leaning over to peek in the window. The left hand seems more solidly placed, but the right looks like it quite obviously slid on the glass. Yet, not with the full hand in contact with the glass. I wonder if what we're looking at is an attempt to push the camper over or at least rock it. The reason I say that is because if you're applying force in an upward motion, that would account for the smear pattern of the 'pinky' finger moving in an opposite direction to the thumb, index and middle fingers. What's odd is the lack of impression of the ring finger. So of course I've tested with my own hand. If you're applying pressure and sliding your hand to the right, your ring finger does seem to push up off the surface, along with the middle finger to a lesser degree. The next thing is that there seems to be more sand in the glass print vs. the lower print. This leads me to believe that the first attempt was on the glass. It seems that it was smart enough to realize the hand slides on the glass, therefore, it next tries lower on the siding leaving less sand this time. Another interpretation could be the high and low prints are the first impressions before it looks in the window, when it sees its reflection causing it to swipe at the other face to push it away. The only problem with this interpretation is that in this scenario, I'd think the whole print would smear to the right with little upward movement and that it would include more of the whole palm. The last thing is the very fact that there is so much sand and mud for something that supposedly is an upright walking creature. This leads me to think that the approach to the camper was done stealthily using hands on the ground in the process. I suppose it may have just been playing in the sand at the riverbank and decided to stop by. The question is - do you ever go there and find things inside knocked over consistent with something shaking the camper?1 point

Skinwalker....do you mind sharing more information about your parabolic dish? Did you buy it or make it? Are you happy with it? How would you improve it? I ask because it has on my "To Do" list for a while. The issue I struggle with is I have to be able to carry it in or on a backpack which definitely limits my choices. There is a company, or two, that have a parabolic dish and mic already made as a package deal that would work. Any information or insights would be appreciated. https://www.wildtronics.com/store.html#!/Pro-Mini-Parabolic-Clear/p/58684090/category=161040261 point

Lol. You guys are good. One of those things where I don't think it would be a big deal if they said they were in am active area, and it wasn't that remote. It's when they make it seem like something it's not. Kinda like white dermadix...or whatever.1 point

to be fair... I have been unable to place any shots of them inside that park. They just showed it on screen for a moment. They called out "Pine Mountain" on the show. I only looked along it for the straight cut up the ridge for power lines or a pipeline. It didn't take too much effort. It looks like they drove out on a clear cut on some mountain top, that may help me narrow it down further. I have been trying to find the 'trails' they showed on their lidar map. No luck so far...1 point

I've watched 8 minutes of it so far, and it took less than 2 minutes for the algorithm lie to emerge. "We only have 17 days" right.... Here is a starting location, shown at about 8 minutes in. Cumberland KY. That ridge is the border of Letcher and Harlan Counties in Kingdom Come State Park. 36.997550, -82.984460 There are 12 SSR entries for Harlan and Letcher Counties combined. That's 12 more than the county they were at in Oregon.1 point

I think the idea is to collect it for analysis instead of possibly discarding it. It may be a unique identifier to the new species. The oily sebum is probably the most important, but who knows. It reminds me of how a duck keeps itself water proof. I wonder if the Sasquatch has a special gland to secrete the sebum or alba vernix?1 point

I would try to work on the weakness of the creatures habit which is it's curiosity. Just like it did with Guy's camper. It seems like it pushed the camper to see if it would get a reaction. So what if you were to build a two way mirrored box on a tree with tree cams posted in your area. Would not get a reaction from the creature's in your area. In our parts of the woods, in Michigan. This is what grabbed the reaction when we used a glow stick on a salmon baited station near our camp site. It only takes one time to get what you want from these creatures . I figure if they see a box you might get lucky and get a picture with prints as well. That's if they do not break the mirror after seeing themselves on how ugly they look. That's strange to with me as well Guy. I have never been attacked either or have had giant rocks thrown at me. My son has had small pebbles or rocks tossed at him when he was small. The only thing that has happen was having my camper slapped once and that was it. The other thing that has happen is having large tree's fallen around me while hunting in no wind conditions. But never related it to Bigfoot. So keep up with the great research that you are doing.0 points
