  1. Hello, My name is Greg, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing. I've been living in Weston Colorado, in a small off-grid cabin I built, with my black lab, Jasper for two years now. I have 6 acres in the forest at 8250 elevation. There are cliffs and rock formations all around, very rough terrain. I believe, there is a family of bigfoot living near me.

  2. For all the people that say gifting works, and food left for bf gets eaten by bf, why not embed a tracking chip in apples, peanut butter, etc that is left? Why has this not been done before (or has it), that way with a receiver the chip, or whatever is used for tracking, can be followed once inside the bf? Maybe there is nothing available that small to embed in fruit, etc. This is presuming the bf eats the fruit in 1 go, rather the taking bites, but then an adult bf probably eats some fruit whole in 1 go.. Any ideas on this?

  5. Hey all, have been lurking here for a long time and decided to finally become a member. I live in Utah and my family and I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible with snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and camping. Northern Utah has the Uinta mountain range, an east-west spur of the Rockies which has has long history of Bigfoot activity and reports. While I have not had a sighting, a very trusted friend had a clear mid-day sighting while hiking with his dad and brothers there and his experience has solidified the belief in me that there are Bigfoot in our local mountains. Like many of you that are close to my age, I became fascinated with Bigfoot as a kid when I first saw the original In Search Of and Legend of Boggy Creek in the 70's. Looking forward to learning more from you all and hopefully I can return the favor with some of my own insight and/or knowledge. Thanks!

  6. Hello Everyone! Very excited to find this forum. Had strange experience in the woods many years ago that i could not explain and always wondered about. Then once day recently I randomly saw a documentary style series on bigfoot, never giving the concept but belief and I was one of the many that thought Bigfoot was a singular "monster" that ran around in the woods. Then to my surprise the things that I saw in the documentary series were much like what i experienced in the woods long ago and I am now hooked and must learn more! I have plans to try some of my own research as well as try to learn and share with/from others. I have decent bushcraft experience and a background in technology/engineering. After seeing this series my brain began to oooze with both high tech and low tech(mechanical) tools and instruments that can help us get closer to more answers and maybe they truth. Still i feel like i have a lot to learn, especially from the community whom with out this hard work and contribution i would have never known what my experience many years ago actually was.

  7. @Explorer I am not sure that the creature is approaching the guy with the thermal imager. It is much more the guy with the thermal imager is actually finding the creature. So the notion that the creature is tracking us humans is null and void . It is the same way a deer can come right up to a game cam and have it's picture taken that these creatures understand what they are. I have come up with ideas like using distractions using game cams hat flash. By placing a game camera that flashes on a tree and having a infra game camera across , one might be able to get a photo of one. I say this since i once had a flashing game camera that had pictures on it of nothing. The thing was that each picture was one after the other. Like some thing was behind the camera and just messing with the camera due to the flashing. On that camera I did pick up a creature twice and on the second picture you can see the eye's of the creature. Which showed up glowing blue and at around 7' to 8' tall. The bad part is i can not find the negatives which would have been great. But still feel like distraction will work with these creatures. But you have to get very creative in order to get their attention so that they do not pay attention to the cams.

  8. Hi all. 39 year old bored work at home/stay at home Mom here from Texas who has been lurking for at least a year and should probably not type a new username at midnight because she misspells it. Have two teens, a truck driver husband and enjoy being outside for pretty much anything. Never seen Bigfoot or anything like it but one of these days (hopefully). I was born and raised in Southern Ohio and the stories that come from that area have always fascinated me. It lead to a general love of cryptid research as I got older. And now here we are.

  9. Hi all, I just read some of the comments from Bigfoot Forums online. Fascinated by stories of missing 411. It's best to respect every environment we're in. We've come to call it the vacation mentality. That, I'm on vacation. So, nothing bad can happen to me. We lower our defenses, just when we need to pay closer attention. Situational awareness. All that said, I'm sure being in remote wilds would put me at a distinct disadvantage. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Might just save our lives to listen up. Thank you for having me here.

  11. Hello everyone. Greeting from Europe. I have read and watches various information on Bigfoot for a couple of decades and come to the conclusion it is very likely they do exist. What they are is a mystery. See you in the discussions.

  12. Hi all! So, a succinct intro... I have been fascinated by Bigfoot for a quite a few decades (ouch), ever since I saw an article about Bigfoot when I was (I am pretty sure) in the fifth grade. I came across a couple of Bigfoot books in the small local bookstore, including John Napier's (I still have that book, and my wife was kind enough to gift me a hardback copy from a used bookstore, which is pretty awesome), and was ever vigilant for any other Bigfoot book I could track down (the pre-internet days made that a lot tougher, but then again, it was a thrill to walk into a bookstore and discover a book you had no idea was "out there"), any article, any TV special, etc. Bigfoot has just been one of my most enduring interests (along with cryptids in general, although aside from Bigfoot, Nessie and the Yeti, I wasn't aware of too many others way back then... and also an interest in "general weirdness" like UFOs and other "unusual stuff"... I'd say Bigfoot, dinosaurs and superhero comics are the three interests that have hung in there the longest for me). Over those years, I have read and watched just about everything on the subject that I could get my hands on, and yeah, still doing that. If this is "the same place", I was actually a member here for quite a few years, but I couldn't recover my old account, so ...back to being a newbie. Just FYI, I am in the camp of thinking that Bigfoot is out there, and is a flesh and blood animal, maybe a relic hominid. No offense, but not part of the supernatural school. A huge fan of Dr. Meldrum's work. Look forward to participating here, and interacting with all of you who are also fascinated by the topic!
