Hi all!
So, a succinct intro... I have been fascinated by Bigfoot for a quite a few decades (ouch), ever since I saw an article about Bigfoot when I was (I am pretty sure) in the fifth grade. I came across a couple of Bigfoot books in the small local bookstore, including John Napier's (I still have that book, and my wife was kind enough to gift me a hardback copy from a used bookstore, which is pretty awesome), and was ever vigilant for any other Bigfoot book I could track down (the pre-internet days made that a lot tougher, but then again, it was a thrill to walk into a bookstore and discover a book you had no idea was "out there"), any article, any TV special, etc. Bigfoot has just been one of my most enduring interests (along with cryptids in general, although aside from Bigfoot, Nessie and the Yeti, I wasn't aware of too many others way back then... and also an interest in "general weirdness" like UFOs and other "unusual stuff"... I'd say Bigfoot, dinosaurs and superhero comics are the three interests that have hung in there the longest for me). Over those years, I have read and watched just about everything on the subject that I could get my hands on, and yeah, still doing that.
If this is "the same place", I was actually a member here for quite a few years, but I couldn't recover my old account, so ...back to being a newbie.
Just FYI, I am in the camp of thinking that Bigfoot is out there, and is a flesh and blood animal, maybe a relic hominid. No offense, but not part of the supernatural school. A huge fan of Dr. Meldrum's work.
Look forward to participating here, and interacting with all of you who are also fascinated by the topic!
