  1. Saturday, Jan. 23rd, I made my first field trip in months, to a very local mountain, since we're still under local only travel restrictions, outside of essential work trips. I chose a nearby mountain that drains it's eastern slopes into the valley where I had my sighting, over 40 years ago. The drive from my home to the start of the forest service road is only about 25 minutes, but the climb to the top of the mountain on the deactivated spur road is well over an hour, as there are many drainage cuts across the surface, restricting vehicle speed to 5 or 6 km/hr. The slow crawl up the very steep road is worth it, though, as the view of the valley from the summit is spectacular on a clear day, which it was, though a snow storm was predicted for Sunday. All we got Sunday was rain though, as the temperature stayed just above freezing down in the valley. On my drive up, I only encountered 2 other Jeeps on their way down, so I had the whole summit plateau to myself for a couple of hours. There was some old snow in the shaded areas along the road and I saw numerous deer tracks, and of course footprints from the other visitors, but no sign of anything like a sasquatch print or trackway. I did spot a couple of ponds and small swampy areas in hollows back in the forest that will be worth a scout in the springtime, after the snow melts from the high country. Though the sun was shining, it was very cold and windy, so I only got out of the H3 to take some scenery shots, which nearly froze my hands. Next time up there will be in warmer weather, so I can do some exploring of those wet areas without becoming an icicle. 1st photo Looking SW with Dewdney Slough and the village of Dewdney at the bridge at near side of the valley. My home is hidden in the mist among the hills in the upper right of the pic. 2nd photo Looking SE, with the city of Chilliwack just barely visible on the valley floor at the left edge of the photo, Mt. Cheam in the middle horizon, and Mt. Baker on the right, in Wa. state. 3rd photo My ride at the end of the road in a clear cut, with Mt. Baker in the background above the roof. 4th photo Note the temperature display on the mirror! Brrrr, with wind chill it felt like -5C standing outside.

  2. There's a section that has two if the creatures going back and forth. Ron Morehead described it as a couple bickering. I can't remember if that was the Art Bell interview or if it was one of the Sasquatch Chronicles episodes. If I come across it again, I'll make note of where I heard it.

  3. I have not looked at yowie sightings in a very long time, but I seem to recall that they were more aggressive and incidents less benign than those found in the PNW.

  4. Welcome to the BFF, Gambacha1311!! Sorry to hear about your grandfather's condition. If you get the chance tell us more about your incidents in FL and the general area where you are in GA. You can do that over in the Sightings area.

  5. Hello my name is Samuel I live in northern Georgia, used to live in south FL. I had a couple strange experiences when I was a young kid in the woods around our house, we used to play manhunt and build forts ride bikes all over. And a couple times out in the woods we heard some strange screams, sometimes howls and a few whoops. I never thought about it being bigfoot when I was a kid. But years later (like 20+ years) I got into the subject because I was intrigued that there could be some creatures out there in the wilderness that we haven't discovered yet. Really during the Covid lockdowns did alot of searching on the subject. Then I listened to some audio files of known bf sounds and they seemed eerily similar to what we had heard in the woods as kids building forts in remoted areas around south FL, and it kind of gave me a chill down my back about it. So now I'm just trying to find out what is really out there that we don't know about. I needed a hobby to pass the time I moved up to Georgia to take care of my grandparents my grandfather has bad Alzheimers so its a day to day process taking care of him, he pretty much needs a baby sitter all the time. So I thought learning more about this subject was a good way to take my mind off of what's going on with him. I actually heard there are alot of sightings out in this area of Georgia, there is a bf museum like 30 mins down the road that I want to get to eventually, I heard it's got alot of great info.

  6. Hello my name is Mike, I’m 69 years old. Long time hunter and outdoorsman. An encounter in the Michigan Upper Peninsula in 1984 while on a Whitetail hunt has haunted me for years and has embedded an interest in Bigfoot ever since.
