Lol. Moneymaker probably isn't anyone who I would want to spend a lot of personal time with... but this jealousy of and bitterness towards anyone who has gained a certain amount of fame or attention in the field is kind of cringey. Actually, it's not kind of...it is. Get a popular podcast? There's a segment of people on here who will hate you. Go on television is a cryptozoology related capacity? There's a segment of people on here who will hate you. It seems like a lot of you guys spend a lot of hours looking into Bigfoot related media that you absolutely hate...just so you can talk about how much you hate it. This is the Bigfoot equivalent of a hipster talking about bands that you have never heard of... Sounds like a pretty miserable existence, but whatever floats your boat I guess... There's obviously always going to be a few people who rub you the wrong way...I have a couple myself...but, you know what they say about 'when you run into a-holes all day..' Whether or not Moneymaker is in the field nowadays as much as he used to be...for him to admit the self illuminating eyes phenomenon is pretty telling given his stance on the paranormal side things. James Fay has said something similar. Same thing with the NAWACS guys. I would say check out the Seth Breedlove documentary where they film the glowing eyes, but you guys probably hate him too so I won't suggest it. I don't have an answer for it, but I have seen something similar. Might be completely natural. Might be the fires of Hell for all I know. Some of the accounts might very well be reflected light. Others, including one of my own, seemed to occur in complete darkness. I kind of wonder sometimes on why such a small percentage of our new members only last a couple of posts. Even the ones who don't come on here filled with righteous indignation that they are the saviours of the Bigfoot community and start try to be an authority in the subject...I mean the relatively normal ones...they kind of drop off quickly. I wonder if it has anything to do with the tendency of a couple of members to just immediately drop the hate on anyone or anything that is mentioned. I know that I have started to spend less and less time on here because of it. It gets old. Ok. You hate everything and everyone involved with the subject. We get it. Take up a hobby that you enjoy and spare me the vitriol.

Moneymaker makes endorsements of reports without having been onsite as well, and makes stuff up on twitter daily. He may not be the best example to back that theory.

My girlfriend said she loved camping when we first started dating. What I later learned is that her idea of camping was a luxury RV or in a campground with shower facilities. We compromised and I brought along a port-a-potty when we tent camp.

back on topic. I bought the ticket. I'm going both days. I am prepared to be disappointed but will be happy to be hanging out with BF peeps again. The package includes the Friday movie, that I'm watching now on Amazon Prime. What was I thinking? lol The last "published" report from Nebraska is mine, so I should be a celebrity, right?

Clay Newcomb - newer to the MeatEater crew is into Mule skinning and bringing a lot of awareness to it for some folks (like me) who've never really been exposed to it. Fun stuff.

Yeah, I am not sure what to make of it. She was quite certain about glowing eyes, and NOT reflection like a wolf or deer. It doesn't seem to fit the mold of a normal mammalian trait, that's for sure, but I thought I would pass it along.

I’ll pick up a copy off Amazon. I’m familiar with the story and it’s really something. I was in that general area on a cruise ship a couple years ago and the amount of raw forest and wilderness up there is just incredible. There literally is no telling what exists out there. Most people scoff at a statement like that but it is absolutely true. Cool subject to cover in a book. Congrats!

We humans get red eye when a camera flash goes off. If the eyes are 2x3 times bigger? That could explain the red eye glow in low light. You cannot have color vision and a tapetum lucidum at the same time. And all apes and some monkeys have color vision.

As a boy in the 70’s I had a wool army blanket of my fathers, a case knife and a Ruger 10/22. Where ever I hiked I just made a lean to out of fir boughs. I remember a couple of wet nights out there! I shot a lot of ruffed grouse and would sometimes pack a can of beans along. I wanted to be a mountain man as a kid. Fun, fun! It toughened me up for mule skinning in the Rockies later on in life!

I found a podcast and YT channel called, STRANGE BRÄU RADIO. In Season 1, Episode 4, the guest is Doug Hajick talking about Sasquatch Alba Vernix. It premiered on January 27th 2021. Doug starts around the 09:00 mark.

I have a picture of some thing that 8' high with glowing blue eyes. They look like they are lit up from the inside of the eye and it is very freaky to see. If i can scan it, I will post it later some time today.

Preparation and anticipation can fend off problems before they occur. Many of us have talked about having a sasquatch come to you. We can chase it but in the end they are the decision makers. We've all heard about red eyeshine and I've experienced it twice. One thought was to use a corrider of reflective Firetacks to attract and hopefully guide a sasquatch toward me. It's probably wishful thinking but why not try something new?

Any wonder why Sasquatch always wins in the woods?

I remember that clip where moneymaker claims Bigfoot have bioluminescent eyes for signaling each other. Moneymaker is an embarrassment. When he comes off whatever high he is on, he may even realize this himself.
