  1. I am still waiting for them to appear 🙃

  2. I think the ratio you allude to is called the ASH ratio (ArmSpan to Height). Most adult men are around 1.04 and women 1.02. Gigantofootecus did a lot of work on this subject matter and estimated Patty around 1.30 which, if correct, would put her outside human dimension. In my opinion, his phenomenal work on this subject has been the most compelling argument for Patty being a real sasquatch.

  3. It sounds like you might be too high strung for Bigfootery. You might need a more relaxing hobby. Maybe take up birdwatching?

  5. I'm an open-minded skeptic, one who hopes proof of the creature's existence is proven, sooner the better. When it comes to those claiming they possess or have seen crystal clear video or film footage, I tread downright nearly to being a scofftic. If you find that offensive, prove me wrong.

  6. Depends on the location. Many parts of the country have a local/regional bigfoot group that follows up on reports in their area. If you can't find one, then I'd contact the BFRO. If you do a search of the area those two people were located, you find such a bigfoot group.

  7. It is more than probable that those accounts are just more stories without substance.

  8. You can get them cheap on eBay, but I have honestly had luck getting them off of Amazon flash sales when they come available. I usually buy them s couple at s time. There is also this option... Bulkmemorycards.com They offer name brand cards, but I have not personally used them in the past.

  9. I think that it is a combination of people's inability to accurately judge height and size under the best of conditions as well as the stress induced by seeing something terrifying that isn't supposed to exist. It magnifies an already massive creature into gigantic proportions.

  10. I've seen reports of Bigfoot wearing a shirt. I've seen a report of one smoking a cigarette. I also know 90% of the Bigfoot reports are pure, unadulterated BS.

  11. I always feel compelled to poke my head in on this subject, having witnessed it from close range at great length a few years ago: https://bigfootforums.com/topic/56411-a-question-for-those-who-have-had-telepathic-interactions-with-sasquatch-2/?do=findComment&comment=1008660 I can say with absolute certainty it is eyeglow not eyeshine (unless it's something else entirely). That sums it up pretty well I'd say, and as often as this subject comes up, we're still running in the same circles we were a decade ago. I've been digging around the old BFRO Blue Forums on archive just for kicks/nostalgia this past week, here's a version of this topic from 2013: https://web.archive.org/web/20130603140057/http://s2.excoboard.com/BFRO/125336/2397225 There's an even bigger discussion from 2011 but I couldn't find a snapshot of it. I'm pointing this out also somewhat in defense of BlackRockBigfoot, whose point I believe is just that groups like the BFRO in general have been aware of this phenomenon for a long time. For me, the luciferin hypothesis doesn't pass the gut check for what I've seen. The light is intensely bright (those lines coming off the central sasquatch in my poor artist's rendering are meant to be incident rays). It also just.... doesn't make sense, for all the reasons others have brought up already. But who knows. Take the observations, file them away under 'unknown' until someone comes up with an idea that really clicks - but this has been widely reported for a long time, it's not a case of mistaken senses.

  12. Well human eyes need light to be able to see in the dark. So do most cameras. Perhaps their eyes have evolved into a type of dual organ...a light source as well as a camera of sorts. And, if my acquaintance's account is true, the color of light emitted can be changed. But I am completely speculating. An interesting idea though. Boy, I sure wish I could get back out into the woods with @Madison5716. Moving after nearly 30 years and selling and fixing up both the old and the new home by myself are kicking my old butt. And, I just learned this coming week will be mandatory 10 hour days. I need a squatchcation.

  13. What would the purpose of self illuminating eyes be? I can't fathom how that would be beneficial except for creep factor. ETA: unless of course they were bright enough to see by--for knitting during the new moon...

  14. We humans get red eye when a camera flash goes off. If the eyes are 2x3 times bigger? That could explain the red eye glow in low light. You cannot have color vision and a tapetum lucidum at the same time. And all apes and some monkeys have color vision.

  15. My guess is that any bioluminescent compounds ingested orally would be destroyed early on in the digestive process. I have heard at least one first hand report of glowing eyes that changed from yellowish orange to red when the creature got angry and showed it's teeth. This was witnessed by a woman I know while she was less than six feet from the creature's face, who was peering into a window. The woman was in an upper bunk of a bed right next to the window. The creature was watching her sister on the floor or lower bunk and The creature did not see my friend at first. I don't remember which, then when she saw my friend so close intently staring at her in amazement, it growled and showed it's teeth. That's when the eyes went red. She said it was definitely not a reflection. She is certain that the eyes were glowing from the inside.

  16. Moneymaker makes endorsements of reports without having been onsite as well, and makes stuff up on twitter daily. He may not be the best example to back that theory.

  17. I remember that clip where moneymaker claims Bigfoot have bioluminescent eyes for signaling each other. Moneymaker is an embarrassment. When he comes off whatever high he is on, he may even realize this himself.

  18. Sounds like an pretty easy thing to do. I'll just stop going into the field and just.......hope its existence gets proven. In fact why don't we ALL just sit and hope its existence gets proven. And no one need be a skeptic to do that either. Proponents can just hope, too! C'mon, it'll be fun

  19. You assume too much and frankly come off likely one of his BFRO guys or a groupie, the crap he spews on twitter daily is an embarrassment to anyone actually serious about the subject. Being on TV isn't credibility and if he's been looking for bigfoot for 25 years he still needs to look alittle harder because after all that time he doesn't have the goods. Jealousy mass, the mirror for some might reveal an embarrased fanboi. He's basically shown himself to be feeling hurt over his idol being called out as bser he's been for 25 years.
