  1. A simple google search. That was back in the days Paul Vela was chief administrator, and the board was much more UK centered. And it's true, Arvedis. What's old is new again, frequently. Still, wouldn't have it any other way. Oh, and BFF is the best it's ever been! Giganto is an excellent admin, and doesn't get the praise he deserves. And I miss See-Te-Cah NC, another excellent leader. Hope he's doing well.

  3. The hatchet is light, but the weight just feels RIGHT in my hand. It's barely over a pound, and I love it. It was made just for me https://www.kalthoffaxes.se/shop-online/small-carver-01

  10. I thought I would post a few of my latest acquisitions. The balisong is a Kershaw Lucha. I love it! I have flipped these things for years. After my original hand made matching balisongs were stolen years ago, I have been wanting another one that is pretty high quality. On the bottom is a German Otter Mercator "Black cat" knife, in high carbon steel. It is super slim and awesome. A buddy of mine had one and when I used it, I knew I had to have one. The blade steel is fabulous! But no big deal if it ever gets lost as they are quite inexpensive. The Benchmade Autocrat is on the right. Configured for a lefty, of which I am guilty of being. I really love the shape and lines of it. The carbon fiber handles are sexy with the stainless bolsters. Yes, it is an automatic. Kind of spendy, but I just had to. The Opinel on the left was given to me by @Madison5716. It is made in France, and has a twist-lock collar and beechwood handles that Opinel is famous for. This one is for mushroom hunting, hence the brush on the back side. I am looking forward to harvesting some chanterelles later in the season! It's super light, too!

  11. {theme music} [Mike Rowe narrating]"On the next episode of ... REZ SQUATCHIN'....the gang gears up to hit a hot zone in...Bash....Bashkort....Bashkorto-stan....Bashkortostan" [Rez Squatch team with confused expressions] Dr. Bursetv: "Это честно. Я старше всех вас, ребята, вместе взятых, и дважды был на Omaha rez. Приходите ощутить гостеприимство башкирского народа и познакомьтесь с Григорием". subtitles: "It is only fair. I am older than all of you guys put together and I have visited the Omaha rez twice. Come experience the hospitality of the Bashkir peoples and meet Gregory." [speechless, confused expressions] [Mike Rowe narrating] "Maybe this episode is more like thinking about reasons not to go to Bash.....Bash-korto-stan. And if that doesn't work, we'll switch on over to @NatFootand get an update on slaw dog recipes."

  12. Redbone, "enhance your calm". No one expects mysteries to be solved at conventions, conferences and meetings. The sponsors try to offer an assortment of presentations in the categories of flesh and blood, trans-dimensional, paranormal activities and the alien-bigfoot connection. One hopes the quality is good. I don't go to conferences. I stick with flesh and blood but I have been thinking of taking my TriField meter out in the field and buying a Geiger counter. I don't have any problems with Russians. Many have forgotten that when the PGF was released, Americans scoffed at the film but the Russians gave it the heavy eyeball and studied the film and bio-mechanics of Patty very thoroughly. Please ask Igor about my 'snarky opinions'. It is a good question. How did horse hair, raccoon hair and American black bear hair end up in a 'Yeti hair sample' that was given to Bryan Sykes (RIP) for testing? ( I don't know is a good answer). Raccoons are not native to Russia. Ask Igor about research in Russia. He created a special institute at Kemerovo State University. It has a website but I had trouble with Google translate in the search box. Ask about the Shoria area. They claim a population of 30 Almasty. What identifiers do they use to keep the subjects unique? I do not follow your missions. I am not telling you what to do, just making comments. My TriField meter can measure volts per meter. Skin is conductive. Air can have various charges depending on the type of dust being carried. With my TriField meter stationary and not hand held, I can walk by and get a meter needle and audio reaction. I noticed that the availability of a ZOOM connection is buried in the details. Make the print bigger. Have fun I am thinking about changing my display name to Catmandoo van Snarky or Snarky Catmandoo or Count Snarky.
