Who snores the loudest in the camper?
Great photos, norse, but didn't Nathan get any of you?
I went out solo today. My youngest boy was supposed to come along, but his girlfriend's cat took off just before our planned departure, so he had to deal with her panic and search for the critter, which they eventually found, hours later. In the meantime, I went out to a steep creek valley that I was pretty sure would be quiet, even on this long weekend, and I was right, I saw no one at all for the whole afternoon there. On one branch of the road system, I hit snow at about 1000m elevation (3300'), and on the next branch, at a lower level, was stopped by a big slide and washout. I could see that some quads had gone through, but it was a bit too tight for my H3. Some deer tracks and 1 bear scat was all I found for wildlife.
On my way out, my phone pinged that I had a message, which turned out to be from Thomas and Magni, telling me that a mutual friend had just bought a new summer place near Harrison Mills, and we were invited to his first BBQ, so I called my wife to tell her I'd be late, and stopped in for the free food on the way home.
Although the weather was much cooler and overcast than yesterday, it was still a great way to unwind for the day, and I got home late, tired, and happy that I'd made the trip.
