  1. There is no way in the world that a 14 year old kid from inner London can go on vacation to Florida and see one of these things in a rest area close to the Everglades, and yet the US Government don't know they exist. The US Government can tell what brand of jeans you're wearing today whether you're sitting in Dublin, Glasgow, Baltimore or Kabul in a matter of seconds. There is no way in the world they don't know that highly likely 1,000's of undiscovered, upright, large, hairy, man-like animals are wandering around its own forests. No Sir !

  3. Picked up an early 70s Westmark 701 for the old ball and chain. An absolute beautiful piece of cutlery art.

  5. But listen to what Hiflier posted…. If science already knows the creatures exist? And they are participating with government in a cover up? (Look at the federal assets at the border) Your not going to “convince” them. They are simply going to attempt to slander anyone who tries… Better have a body on ice and every news crew live to make a dent if we are fighting the US government.

  6. Thanks Norse, your post just rang a bell. I use GAIA and have annnual subscription with them. I just looked up map choices and clicked on a few of the land boundary maps. Sure enough, it shows the property lines that I can use when I go back to the area. That's fantastic. Thanks again!

  8. I believe that these creatures are a human species that several governments on Earth have decided to protect by simply ignoring their existence officially so they can live their lives out in the primitive manner they've aleays existed in and at the same time reduce the impact of their existence on the rest of us. "Discovery" will be intentionally thwarted as long as possible, and frankly, I think that is the best way to deal with it.

  14. Got back a little while ago from a hike and bushwhack. Went to a location, near a small pond, where I found a large print last October. Almost no reason for anyone to be in this area. I decided to press further and head toward a larger pond reasonably nearby so I bushwhacked to it. At first, it presented itself as small pond with lots of vegetation. The further I went, the more it opened up. I was jawstruck when I finally was able to stand near pondside and see it. Wow---absolutely beautiful. As fate would have it, the property is privately owned although there were no posted or no trespassing signs in the area as I made my way there. I think this area has a lot of potential. Private and no outsiders (like me). I'm going to find out who owns it and make a pitch to be able to spend more time there. We'll see.

  15. Hmmm...Mossedegh, Gen. Kassam, Allende, JFK, MLK, Malcolm X, The Mujahideen, dare I say 9/11? A lot of big events were deftly covered up and kept secret for long periods of time. If we're dealing with anyone here, they ain't amateurs.

  16. Here's an interesting impression from the other day, this was on top of a steep incline coming up from a creek. The pic is not as good as it was 'live', but to me looks like a hand print.....what do you guys think?

  17. Your descriptions not only don't match the Patterson-Gimlin Film (which you claim is a hoax without providing any evidence for your own alleged sightings) they don't match any in the entire database. Those are some pretty big red flags you're setting off my friend.

  19. A) They don’t need to. All they need to do is threaten labs with pulled funding or worse if they send your DNA sample back as a undiscovered primate B) I see things in the reverse. Because you can keep sending us DNA samples and I have the power to manipulate them as the government. But if you have a body? The ball is no longer in my court. It circumvents their ability to keep a lid on it. They can’t say it’s a bear or whatever. Unless of course they seize the body and threaten you.😬

  21. Thanks for the on scene report Swift! I saw a clip of the stream and it seemed to be a pretty low key event. Maybe the old building and echo with the sound had something to do with it. These DIY events are hit or miss. Glad people were able to get out and mingle. Some of the vendors travel far for these events. I always confuse the she-squatchers with another female biogfooter team. These ladies come from the midwest so they must feel some kind of commitment to doing this. I think paranormal investigators in bigfootery is here to stay, always has been. Personally, I don't mind the mix of speakers. It all depends on what else I find and the people I run into at these events. Maybe the west virginia event had the better idea of including music to pick things up a bit.

  22. I've always maintained that smartphones of today are part of the reasons why we have almost no chance of getting a clear photo. In the old days, if you saw something, you pulled out your 35mm, focused on your subject, then shot. Nowadays, the "smart" phones of today have no idea what to snap a picture of. Here is a photo I took last year of a deer that was on top of a mountain I had just climbed. I made sure to double tap on the deer to tell the phone that was the object to focus on. I took nearly a dozen photos and the deer's head was in the focus box every time. Each one of them was fuzzy. In my opinion, if you want a clear picture, bring a real camera in manual mode and ditch the smartphone.

  26. Welcome TravelingFooter! Don't get discouraged by the snark, Lots of folks are jaded by all the codswallop one gets subject to in this field. Standard fare devolution into "hoax til proven legitimate" syndrome. Can't blame them really but if you stick around, you'll find it's mostly a hospitable crowd.... Now where are those pics dammit:) I jest, when, if, you are ever inclined, you have an interested audience on the edge here. And thanks for relating some of your experience.
