  1. Bipedalist, We did not see moose, but the couple camping next to us told us that moose came by camp when we were out hiking one of the days. We camped right next to the Provo River, and my understanding is that moose like riverine regions, so not surprised they showed up. I wished I had seen them!

  2. No. There was a whole other section. Standing square to the camera and then it bending down and picking something up. And the fauna looked like Aussie land very tropical looking.

  3. I just found this today on Australia Yowie Research. The thermal video from the group is excellent but the final still from Angela Ashton, using a $30k FLIR T640 in Mississippi is amazing.

  4. All media reports related to SCP-1000 are to be examined for potential verifiability. All organizations and individuals investigating SCP-1000's existence are to be kept under surveillance by Mobile Task Force Zeta-1000 and discredited or administered amnestics. All physical signs of SCP-1000's existence must be retrieved and kept in Foundation custody, and replaced with decoy items if necessary.

  5. In the interest of clarity, I have no qualms with those who want to put one down respectfully. I also understand that my hands-off approach is likely not the norm. I'm not a hunter and couldn't kill anything unless it attacked me. With that said, hunting is needed and hunters provide a valuable service to the continued existence of a species. I applaud them. A sasquatch is special to me, as it likely is to all of us. I think they are very close to us genetically and also think they are near human. I could be way off the mark, only to find they are close to being an animal, but I doubt that's the case. For those who hunt to bring one on the slab, in the furtherance of science, I only ask it be done respectfully. The thought of high fives and the "I'm-the-one-the-whole-world-will-want-to-speak-with" goal saddens me. It's either one of God's magnificent creatures, in very small numbers, or a cousin of ours. In either case, its death is to be mourned not celebrated.
