That is more or less my plan for the next go-around .. if I remember to do it. The strategy is to just sit down. It is both refusing to flee and giving up the option of attack. It is willingness to accept the situation, manage the fear (if any), and put the choice of outcome in their hands. There is a component of "put up or shut up" to it. It could backfire badly or it could be absolutely perfect. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have the crackpot idea that scared humans are dangerous.

While we're discussing sounds and possible language, I heard the sound that the presumed bigfoot yelled at me in someone else's video.. In one of Reo's videos - the famous one where he's come upon the family of them on the mountaintop - one of them yells exactly the same thing that I heard. It was a warning type call in both instances. If one in Oregon says the same thing in warning, I find it interesting that the one wherever Reo is (Utah?) said something similar.
Monongahela has my utmost respect.
I'm in West Virginia cruising to a fire watch tower at the top of the mountain, its very foggy here.
I want to put some audio recorders there next spring.
What’s the ballpark estimate of hybrids trapped in basements? I would assume basements as opposed to attics, due to the need for outer walls of a certain structural durability due to the heightened strength of these creatures.
In areas with higher groundwater levels that would preclude basements, perhaps we look for the addition of reinforced sheds on the property shortly after the birth of a child in the family? The city or county permit office would be a good place to start…or perhaps an informal inquiry could be made with local contractors.
Some families might lack the resources for such construction, so Uhaul rentals from areas with high groundwater to regions with a dryer substrata more suitable for basements would be a big red flag. Uhaul being a private company, these records will not be available through Freedom Of Information Act requests…so existing employees will have to be convinced or compelled to share such information. Perhaps a long term solution could be placing Sasquatch researchers into the Uhaul ranks to gain access to their records?
Awesome job, @Kiwakwe! That's better that I'd have the patience for, I think. I wish I would have known you make sheaths before I ordered this little jewel for my other new little jewel.
Fallkniven Frej, NL4. Sheath was made by Patriot Leather. Left hand, drop leg (removable), leg tie, with a fire steel and a pouch for the Fallkniven DC4 diamond / ceramic stone. Been wanting a setup like this for ages.
