  1. Did you drive around with a looped John Denver song: Take Me Home, Country Roads? I think it is the law there. Washington State has a colorful history of Fire Lookout stations. Many women served as fire lookouts. The history is available on the USFS website. Some cabins and lookout towers are available to rent for one night. Details are on the 'PNW forest service rental program' on the USFS site. Also: Washington State Fire Lookouts Open for Overnight Stays www.trailchick.com. A one night visit would be limiting for cameras and audio. The views are amazing.

  2. Hello- I’m just an enthusiast who believes in Bigfoot. As a hobby I’ve listened to/read/watched thousands of encounters and videos/pics and I’ve formed my own opinions of what I think it is. I look forward to reading posts and comments from others who know far more than I. Thanks in advance for all the interesting discussions here!

  3. Got it. As I remember River was out there recording himself playing an instrument, guitar maybe, and captured this file and another one. The other sounded bizarre like an elk at times. I'll have to see if i can scrounge that one up too.

  4. Hey all I'm from Kansas and have been fascinated with BF since I was a kid. I've found track ways in SE Oklahoma but never saw bigfoot.

  5. Agreed! And good point, we've seen a lot of unverified "x" that somehow gets turned into fact and then gets erroneously used to verify "y." Digging into factual science as support for a hypothesis is a valid approach. Even if one paints a picture yet to be true, it's still on more solid ground than turning conjecture into some kind of reliable reference to push speculation. Appreciate your well thought out input on this.

  6. It is independent verification .. just about anything of that sort beats using "x" to validate "x". Thanks for sharing.

  7. Yup, it was momentarily freaky & confusing, those customs are amazing! Just glad I hadn't bought my new 10mm yet, lol.

  8. Thank you all so much for responding. That was very informative. The reason I ask is being an ardent skeptic and mostly dismissing Sasquatch evidence. I have always been interested in sounds that can't be explained. Anyway, after much research and collaboration with fellow scientists without going into more explanation. I must admit I was wrong about the Sierra Sounds. I have reluctantly concluded and now after many years believing them to be hoaxed by humans. They are made by unidentified undocumented animals.

  9. The subject will never be taken seriously until physical proof is collected. I don’t think it really matters where.
