  2. "A huge thank-you goes out to researcher Dustin Severs who graciously provided the interview. Thanks also to Melody and Jason banks for the intro narration. In 1971, B.C. radio station CBU aired some interviews of leading Sasquatch personalities of the time, including John Green, Ivan Marx, Roger Patterson, Don Abbott, and Albert Ostman. The first one that will be featured here is the Albert Ostman segment. Stay tuned for the others which will soon follow. Don’t forgot to subscribe and hit that notification button. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this extremely rare interview."

  3. I'm kind of shocked that someone was able to set up a chronograph and get a sasquatch to throw a pine cone through it to come up with a 92 mile per hour pinecone toss.

  4. Here are three photos of a trail sign at Snoqualamie Falls east of Seattle. These are from Trip Advisor and are taken by three different people, two from the US and one Brit, in two different years, 2019 and 2021. I was unable to place it on the trail system using Google Earth because the Street View is spotty, but due to the chain leak fence with a warning sign visible in the background and the amber light on a pedestal I suspect it is near a gate that prevents unauthorized access to the adjacent hydro power plant.

  6. If you search through first nation's stories and legends, there are many a accounts of women and children being taken. Some tribes refer to sasquatch type creatures as children stealers and cannibals. Of course, there are less modern accounts of kidnappings, especially adult men... True or not... there are certainly historical reports of this type of activity.

  7. The Dennis Martin case is compelling, but it is hard to say what happened to this poor child. We have the reports of a family seeing a strange bear with something on its shoulder, special forces on site searching but not apparently interacting with other rescue operators, and rumors of feral people living in the smoke mountains. We may never know what happened in this case, but it definitely is one of the more intriguing cases within the missing 411 genre.

  8. I might print this up and post it at the entrance of my favorite moose hunting valley. It might keep other moose hunters out. But it might also fill it up with sasquatch hunters, though.........

  10. When I said to my wife; "we interrupt this marriage to bing you HUNTING SEASON", she was less than amused. I have since learned to choose my words carefully. The limp went away after a while along with the black eye.

  11. Honestly, one might make a case that the discovery of a species like sasquatch would have an impact on multiple areas of society. As often mentioned, there could be a negative economic impact on outdoor industries from logging, to camping and tourism. The discovery would also have a possible impact on many fields of scientific research, who would have to reevaluate evolutionary theories. There could also be repercussions in the religious community. (With man being created in God's image, many would have questions and a possible crisis of faith) If the species was found to be related to homo sapient, there would also quickly arise a question about human rights as well. Ultimately, there could many reasons why the discovery of a species like Sasquatch would not be in the best interest of many factions of society. Loss of revenue would only be one impact on our way of life.

  13. I never had any real concern about cougars 'til that one took a try at me here in our yard. By the time I realized what I'd walked up on it was too late. It was cornered against the fence so I didn't want to crowd it. When I took a step back, it came around the tree and right at me. Every time I think about that I want to go downstairs and hug my J-frame. It saved my bacon. Ever since then, like you said, my head's been on a swivel. MIB

  14. Yes. Ostman's account is probably genuine. His detailed description of the Sasquatches was remarkably consistent with later accounts. This despite the fact that Bigfoot was hardly common knowledge when he was first interviewed by John Green in 1957.
