  1. I was asked to participate and I declined. I'm going to do a podcast about it soon. I'll try to remember to post it here. The interaction with the producer was...interesting.

  2. When I said to my wife; "we interrupt this marriage to bing you HUNTING SEASON", she was less than amused. I have since learned to choose my words carefully. The limp went away after a while along with the black eye.

  3. Best of luck with your surgery. As far as marriage hunting is concerned, I have two words of advice--Prenuptial Agreement!!

  4. When I saw this advertised, I wondered why you were not participating and almost messaged you to ask about it. After watching half of the first episode, I can see why you chose to pass up on it.

  6. Here are three photos of a trail sign at Snoqualamie Falls east of Seattle. These are from Trip Advisor and are taken by three different people, two from the US and one Brit, in two different years, 2019 and 2021. I was unable to place it on the trail system using Google Earth because the Street View is spotty, but due to the chain leak fence with a warning sign visible in the background and the amber light on a pedestal I suspect it is near a gate that prevents unauthorized access to the adjacent hydro power plant.

  7. On the knee surgery front as the owner of two artificial knees (after throwing the discus in high school and college, what was I thinking?!?!) as crazy as it sounds, if you can tolerate it, @PNWexplorer, do some muscle strengthening exercises - your quads and hamstrings especially. Even ones that you do sitting in a chair will help with that after surgery recovery time. And in the mean time, ice is your friend. So sorry to hear you have this ahead of you, wishing you the best of luck!

  8. Best wishes on the surgery. I'm probably not long behind you with that, but I've been real successful with knee compression support and Meloxicam.
