I was asked to participate and I declined. I'm going to do a podcast about it soon. I'll try to remember to post it here. The interaction with the producer was...interesting.
Welcome to the BFF BugMaster.
We do have a need for data analysis of the data we have collected, thousands of sighting report parameters classified by volunteers over 8+ years.
I'll send you a private message later today.
Hello from Utah.
I have been interested in Sasquatch (Sas'qet, as I usually call them) since childhood. As I gained my footing in the scientific world (environmental science, ecology, predictive modeling, etc.) I felt a calling to run analyses on Sas'qet report data and "give back" to the Sasquatch community. I joined so I can see what others have found and so that I could possibly find data to analyze and share with the group.
Edge detection does not show anything. In the top image, the object on the left looks man made and has writing on the side of it. I think that you have humans.
On July 18, 2020, Gigantor posted a link in "Applied Scientific Methods" : "Edge detection software for night videos". It is in Windows Movie Maker.
Way to go Gigantor. Since the original posting, only 15 downloads have occurred. That is a poor statistic.
I'll pass. Sounds like a sensationalized "reality" show like Mountain Monsters where it's all theatrics and little actual substance. The sort of thing that discredits the subject and makes the study a joke.
I'm overly judgmental on these things, but this would probably make a "good" double feature with any of Todd Standings rubbish.
