  2. May you all have a Merry Christmas and may the kids enjoy their presents as well as the grand kids. Seems like the older we get the less it seems like Christmas. At least for me.

  8. Merry Christmas to you all! I woke up to a bit of snow on the ground this morning, looks like it'll be a white Christmas here in BC's lower mainland, which is a rare thing.

  9. Merry Christmas 🎅 My favorite time of year. The time for giving and sharing kindness. The season when people are nicer and their smiles shine brighter.

  12. I am new here, 12-24-21…. Stumbled upon this group while I was reading on the bfro website, where I clicked a link to read more about Central California’s native people’s stories of the “Hairy Man”…. I was formerly a HUGE skeptic of the Big Foot phenomenon; BUT I’ve experienced some hair-raising things right here in Mid-Michigan which has caused me to do a 180 on the subject…. At this point strongly believe it to be a real thing. The Big Foot are real in Michigan.

  14. It’s a blizzard here. Suppose to receive 20 inches with this storm. And then next week it’s suppose to drop to minus 11.

  16. The quality of troll appears to follow closely the quality of programming from The Learning Channel, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, et al. These stupid monster shows are producing stupid monster hoaxers. Indeed, stupid hoaxers are the producers of this silly programming. I again recall Glickman's observation: https://www.woodape.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/An-Argument-of-Continuity.pdf I will further speculate that as media exposure gets dumber and dumber, so does the manufactured reporting that is a result of the media exposure, and this should be "the expected result".

  17. For years I carried a flint and steel on a lanyard. Many different brands of ferrocerium rods were tested, used, and replaced with the latest greatest ones. It's always a good idea to have a backup especially for fire and water. Let us know how you like it.

  20. Yeah,I caught that, too. Has a son Zak. Maybe cryptid investigation is the new Starkey family activity.

  21. Wazza Koosa, Remember that stuff in the middle east. It tasted pretty good, but beer was hard to find. The beer I did find had some weird stuff floating in it. Might make a drive out to Dearborn and find your wazza koosa. Good stuff.

  22. Did your friend Rich Starkey play drums for some obscure band? What was their name again? Oh yeah...The Beatles!

  23. Major Newton and Commander Santos from the auxiliary police force, huh? Maybe Doug Dannger can cover the story for the local news and afterwards you can all go to Ted Bell’s restaurant for dinner. Have a couple of Teds and some foil wrapped baked potatoes. He invented those, you know?

  24. Hello Bigfootforums, I am ecstatic to join this community. I have always been interested in the supernatural and unknown for as long as I could remember. In the past year or so I’ve developed a overwhelming obsession with Bigfoot. It started while watching Les Stroud’s Survivor Man Bigfoot Series, and then eventually came across a YouTube channel ‘How to Hunt’ where people submit their encounters from all over the world. Mainly Canada and the USA. Since then I’ve been on a quest to acquire as much knowledge and information as possible about this creature. I also recently moved to British Columbia in Canada, near the Washington border where a lot of these encounters come from. Haven’t quite ventured into the wilderness yet but eventually am hoping to do so. Who knows maybe one day I’ll have my own encounter and be able to share it with everyone here. Until then I am excited to read what everyone here has to say and learn as much as I possibly can.

  25. I have the one by Uberleben. It does work, but I'd hate to have to depend on it as my last resort, though. Plus, it just looks neat, as does yours!

  27. Ahem, the esteemed crypto investigator Brig. Gen. Kolb III is much better than simply retired......he doesn't exist. Not even in the world of bit coin.

  28. When a bear hide is preserved with the fur attached, for poor preservation techniques the fur becomes unattached in patches, exactly as his supposed apple picking Bigfoot photo shows. Furthermore, Bigfoot have thin hair as proven by Melissa Hovey's photo, and not the thick bear like fur as worn by the supposed apple picking Bigfoot. The supposed head is simply an open faced hood with no ears nor any other details, which is why in this "take", the hoaxer was looking down toward the ground. Separately, when the 3 full available Silver Star Mountain photos are made available to study, the exposed rocks on the north face of that mountain are exposed. When then comparing those rock locations with the claimed Barackman and photographers sequence of the photos, one can easily see that the photographer needed wings in order to jump out into space to one side of where photo #1 was taken, in order for the rock location for photo #2 to be even close to correct. Which is impossible. Larry Lund claims at a Ray Crowe meeting years ago, that he loaned the silhouette drawings that were superimposed on these three photos, to the photographer. Finally, in the photographer's initial concocted story, he claimed that he had to climb through waist deep snow in order to get to the top of the mountain, except the exposed rocks on the north face prove that there was no freshly fallen snow, much less waist deep snow. As an experienced snowmobiler, climbing up any kind of hill in waist deep snow, is so difficult and time consuming as to take days to climb to the top of Silver Star Mountain, and not something that a human could knock out in a morning. If Cliff Barackman had also claimed the authenticity of either the Memorial Day footage, the Fourth of July footage, the Biscardi footage or the Todd Standing Bigfoot Running at super human speed footage, then Cliff would have had a trifecta. But then Bigfoot research remains a learning process, where full and free discussion is necessary in order to arrive at the most probable truth.
