The North American Bigfoot Center tweeted out this pic of a soon to be ready display of a nest from the O.P. site. I've listened to Derek Randall and found the whole project very intriguing. It"d be fascinating to see one of the nests up close.

Since sasquatch seem to be on the human family tree - somewhere - I found this interesting. Deer with Covid - so I suppose the sasquatch species could catch it from the deer if humans can. Maybe we will find a body yet... and what a problematic find that could be, with the virus passed back and forth among species. Deer in study show 'stunning' rate of COVID. How'd they get it? I was under the impression as well that once disturbed - or depending on location-the nests were abandoned and new ones constructed.

I could be wrong, but I thought that many of the reals nests had basically degraded away.

Somehow you're under the impression that all people in the field are there to find and capture scientifically-acceptable evidence for the world to see. That is not even in the top-ten objectives when I'm out in the field. My sole purpose is to get a sighting or have an encounter. If I were blessed with producing hard evidence, I likely wouldn't share it with anyone. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there aren't many other people out there who only want to prove to themselves these creatures exist and would never share details with anyone but family and close friends. So I'll stay with my old, tired, lazy, and unimaginative methods that are destined for failure. I really like them and they've grown on me!

@hiflier Less, you forget my questions I asked, for you to answer. And this time I ask, answer them in earnest. . 1) How many samples have you collected? 2) How many have successfully been sent to a test center and resulted in DNA results? 3) How many if any came back with Human or listed as contaminated? 4) How much on average did each test cost you and what was the time it took to get results? Could you please answer these directly? It will probably help people get an idea of what they may be in for. And I am speaking any form of DNA, be it physical sample or E-DNA, soil, water, or air? Hi! I’ve been interested in Sasquatch and other “cryptids” for about 4/5 years now. I live in an area surrounded by forest/woods, and I live 5-30 minutes from multiple state parks (forest). I also have many cranberry bogs and blueberry fields close by, and multiple bodies of water. I have had some strange encounters exploring the forests in my area, including seeing a large dark figure and hearing screams/yells of unknown animals that were terrifying enough to make a group of adults run to our trucks and hightail it out of the area. At the time when I had these experiences, I had no idea what it could be as I had not looked into Sasquatch or cryptids yet. To this day, I’m still not sure what it could be. About 4/5 years ago I came across David Paulides/missing 411 and Sasquatch Chronicles around the same time while searching for others who have experienced strange encounters in the woods. After some research, I found out there have been multiple disappearances and Bigfoot sightings not far from my home. (I am NOT connecting missing 411 and Sasquatch together because I don’t believe Bigfoot is responsible for all of these strange disappearances, but that is a chat for another time on another forum). I am very interested interested in reading about others’ encounters, thoughts, and beliefs about Sasquatch which is why I signed up for membership on this forum. I’m not a big talker but instead I prefer to listen (read) and soak it all in so that I can come to a conclusion. Im still not sure what Sasquatch is, but there have been too many sightings to deny that SOMETHING is going on.

I am experiencing some health problems, so I just don't feel up to lengthy typing, but, I have typed these out in the paranormal section I believe. So, if you want to look it should be there or some where like that. I will type it out for you later when I feel better if you can't find them. It's just that events leading up to, during and after the encounters are important to the story.

Eyewitness testimony is evidence, but it is considered weak evidence. People lie. They make mistakes, and for many reasons. So if evidence based in forensics (relating to or denoting the application of scientific methods and techniques to an investigation) cannot refute the eyewitness testimony, it stands as evidence, weak as it is. For example, my own footprint find. I had no camera, no casting material, but did have several other people with me who saw it. That's better than just my sole testimony, but exponentially weaker than the testimony of Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin, who had a motion picture, casts, photographs of the tracks, and even other independent parties who visited the site subsequently and photographed and casted the prints. And the PG event evidence cannot beat a carcass.

I am amazed people even consider this. No wonder this subject is not taken serious by most. Most believers that I know and or related to even think this film is a over weight dude in a suit.

i enjoyed it, i also helped contribute a little as well. he lives about 4 miles from me and we work a lot of same areas over time. its a deep dive on the regions ecology and why its as good area to support this kind of creature, as well as having some good case files in it as well.

I just read the beginning of this on the Youtube video and Dallas Oregon has been my home for 57 years and I loved bow hunting elk in the mountains outside of my home. There were several areas that I hunted that had quite a bit of sasquatch activity and I had many encounters over the years from the mid 70's to the very late 90s. I have experienced mind speak something twice up in the hills of the Coast Range. I know several Rockys, but only two of them hunt that I know of. I'm going to read the rest of the story now.

It means whatever you want it to mean. I have not found a trackway in snow yet this season. A lot of folks know that, you must have skipped school that day. Interpret that however you will.
