  1. You must be more akin to the quiet version. As one who hates mankind in the macro, and lives in and seeks the more quiet areas of the planet, I think I'm also more related to the quiet version. But the desire to understand, even if not expand collectively, is strong with me. I also see sasquatchery in a spiritual realm. They are a pre-Creational human. "Man" (Homo sapien) was "created" (modified) in the image and likeness of God..........IOW, Man was created in the spirit. Other members of the Homo genus weren't. Aboriginal peoples original religions tended to be animist and shamanist. The spirits of the different species of animals, trees, waters, lands, etc were understood by their behaviors and relationships with everything else. Often individual people were seen spiritually as similar to various animals because of their physical aspects and behaviors, so a huge, powerful, and aggressive man might be called a bear. Thus, in my life, I've been likened to bears, but for some reason I feel much more spiritually akin to wolves. Wolves seem to like me, and vice versa. I've had many close interactions with wolves, and they have all left me pleased. Not so much with my bear experiences. My only sasquatch experience was a trackway find and a mysterious evening of events on that day. I long for another such experience, but with a visual treat and the chance to "talk", even if just with signs and body language.

  2. I'm not sure if this is ever been posted here, but it was compiled by Kerry Clausen-Kilmury. It's a Google Map with pins associated with all documented reports in BC. Each pin contains the data on the report as well as a link to the original source. It's an incredible resource. Thank you to Kerry. British Columbia/NWT/Yukon Sasquatch sightings I see she also has one for all of Canada now too: Canada Sasquatch Map 2 I know the Bigfoot Mapping Project is creating something similar for all of North America but it has yet to thoroughly map BC reports: The Bigfoot Mapping Project

  4. @PNWexplorer Yes, I saw your wheels a while ago, and liked the look. Mine were getting faded and pitted, so a bit of sanding and a few cans of Tremco wheel paint smartened them up. I've had several positive comments on them. @Huntster I'm glad my comment was helpful. Let's see some pics from the new phone ;-)

  5. If it is faked I like the approach, isn't it well known that sasquatch will parallel people, just as it appears the unsub is doing here? Not to mention it is moving at a decent clip

  7. I totally understand what you are saying Doodler, but man, if I had to think that hard all the time, it would hurt my simple brain. Sometimes when the weighty, deep and sometime abstract thoughts on a subject come up and I contemplate them with an open mind, I sometimes revert back to something more simple such as the old saying; "ignorance is bliss" and just go with that.

  8. You are being persecuted for stating your opinion as absolute fact about something you only know about from what you read in books, articles and other media as well as from what you heard in blogs and such and then ridicule those that don't agree with you. Some of those people (me included) have first hand knowledge of this creature and some are knowers. I don't think sasquatches have anything to do with aliens, inter dimensional travel, portals and such and even though I have experience it, I have a hard time with mindspeak stuff. Like I said, I think sasquaches are flesh and blood creatures with novel physical attributes, but just because I believe that, it doesn't make it so. I choose to keep an open mind to this and not try to force a sasquatch in a box theory on everyone.

  11. The rain that was forecast for today held off, so after lunch I grabbed the Hummer keys and headed out to a nearby mountain trail. I had recently heard, through a local 4x4 forum, that a branch road off a well known FSR was now open, after being gated for years. I got there about 2, and found the narrow road to be in pretty good condition, due to recent logging near the summit, but right from the start it was steep enough to be best climbed in low range. At about 2 km up, I saw a very scenic small waterfall, and stopped for the photo, of course. At km 3 the grade lessened to a more normal climb rate, and I continued all the way to the recent logging show at the end of a nice hanging valley at 800M el.(about 2500'). There were still patches of snow, but the road was bare, with a thin layer of mud from the snow melt, so I had my eyes peeled for tracks, but only saw lots of bear scat, probably from last fall, before the snows came. After a break to stretch my legs and have a snack, while glassing the clearcut, and a talus slope at the foot of an impressive rock bluff, I headed back down the trail, exploring a couple of older deactivated branches along the way, and taking a few more scenic pics. Since the start of this route is only 40 minutes from my home, I was back in time for dinner at 6.
