Boys and Girls, here's first dibs on the soon to be released 'lite' version of the Nest Area analysis that i finished for 2021. This report prior to today, has only been viewed internally by Olympic Project members and a very selective few others. As mentioned, it's the 'lite' version that i just wanted to release due to time restrictions and going forward, i need to analyze both weather conditions and moon phase correlations among other things, when time is a little easier to come by for me. Anyway, it's important to me that BFF members get a first look at it and i hope this thread can ignite productive conversation among us. It's important to note that all Bird and Mammal recordings analyzed were clarified by multiple people using the MaCaulay Library of Sound. As and when i make edits due to people pointing out grammatical errors etc, i'll update the report and post the most recent edit here as we go along. The recording project is continuing and recording as i write and i can tell you that 2022 and the first Winter that has been recorded so far, has been extremely productive and Winter was the season that was most interesting to us due to the timing of both the original Nests found (February) and the 2020 new 'under construction' Nest find (February). If anybody has any questions at all on anything, please add to the thread and i'll try my best to answer them, checking in to the thread on a minimum of every Monday and Tuesday at least. I'd be really interested on peoples thoughts and/or experiences of the possible Coyote Warning/Locator call correlations that were found. Sharing is caring, enjoy ! Edit : If anyone wants this on PDF, just message me your email address and i'll send it across soonest.6 points

I've had several ticks decide to lunch on me these past few years. In 2019, I pulled one that was embedded in me, put the tick in a medicine jar, and headed to an urgent-care center to get antibiotics. While sitting in the waiting room, I did a search of "tick identification" and found a university that would identify it for you for free. I took a photo of the tick, emailed it to them, and within two hours had the result. Impressive. While waiting in the waiting room I also found that Cornell University had a program where you can mail the tick to them and for a fee they will test it for six or seven different diseases. Before the day's end, that tick was on its way to Cornell. I got the results 3 days later. I assume that Cornell is still offering the program to the public but don't know that. The benefit is you will know exactly what disease to address in case things start going south medically. I think the cost was around $125 and I had it done on two occasions for two different ticks. The first one positively identified Babesiosis and the second one tested negative for all. Other universities may offer that same type program. Cornell University just happen to come up when I did a search online. Cornell tick testing4 points

Hello! I grew up in the Pacific NW, and like many others that have replied here, I've had a life long interest in Bigfoot. I like to think of myself as an agnostic when it comes to anomalous events. That doesn't mean I am a skeptic, only that I want to believe - but I also want rigorous evidence. Any serious group is exciting to me. I've been meaning to join these forums for years, but was just too lazy.1 point

Here's an old thread with some interesting info: https://bigfootforums.com/topic/844-how-do-other-animals-react/#comment-11670 Also suggest forums search by author Branco for coyotes. He shared a lot of knowledge over the years about their relations w/ the hairy folks. I'm sure many others have as well.1 point

I have followed this forum for years and signed up many times, lost interested, and let my account expire. That said, I always coming back to discover new BF information on the forum . I do so with the hope that someday someone will provide the undisputable proof that can no longer be denied. I have never had an encounter, but I have discovered through this forum and others that I have been very close to areas that have experienced activity. How will I react if I ever have a sighting, I honestly don't know. But, if my heart can take it, I am sure the toilet paper and extra pair of underwear will come in handy.1 point

And it's specifically the Coyote Warning/Locator call too H, not just any normal, regular type vocalizations like barks, yips, howls etc.1 point

Went out again today to try and find morels. New spot was 30 miles away from the last spot, and my pastor said he found some in the area earlier this week. He would not tell me where he found his, lol. Morel spots are closely guarded secrets out here. I hiked for hours and found tons of mushrooms. But, only one tiny morel. Could not believe all of the elk sign in the area. This was from a monster elk and from earlier in the day. Found one "squatchy" anomaly about 100 yards from the only morel I found. Looked like a bunch of downed pine boughs from a bad storm a couple of weeks ago were gathered to a specific spot and made into a crude nest. The pictures really don't do it justice as it is in a definite bowl shape in a depression and the boughs were all pushed down and formed. Despite the unproductive day, it was mostly nice and I got to wander in the woods again.1 point
