  1. Hello! Long time lurker and first time poster. Have grown up in the woods of Michigan and have heard some stories through the years that have always made me think…. What if???? Anyway, thanks for letting me part of the community, hope to be able to learn and contribute more in the future!

  2. Before the question makes much sense the people discussing it need to come to some agreement on what defines paranormal, supernatural, etc. Where does F&B end and "other stuff" begin? I think you have to settle the issues of whether or not extraterrestrials exist and can get here, and whether paranormal / supernatural exists, in a scientific way, before it isn't a question of putting the cart before the horse when claiming bigfoot is any of those. Just my opinion of course. As I have said here and in other places, I think the paranormal appearances of events, which are rampant in the body of reports, are most likely the result of "stage magic" rather than "real magic", in other words, it is misdirection and sleight-of-hand, our attention directed elsewhere while the actual trick, which is "normal", is performed without our notice, but we're just too arrogant to admit, even to ourselves, that we've been fooled so we come up with nonsensical and fantastical rationalizations that we call explanations but aren't. I think instinct to interpret rather than stopping at observation trips us up. I think our desire to believe, and to be validated, outweighs our critical thinking. Not always, but too often. And so "woo" was born ... MIB

  4. Hi, my name is Ivan and another UK member. I've had an interest in Bigfoot for many years and now have grandchildren who are curious about it, so I am always on the lookout for more information. I enjoy watching the TV documentaries that I come across and also some of the stuff on Youtube. I've read a few of the articles on this site and enjoyed those too, so hopefully I'll be able to learn even more in the future.

  5. Hello everyone, my name's Brian. I first became interested by Bigfoot because of stories my mom told me when I was a young'n. She spent Summers up in Northern California when she was young and she heard all the stories just when Bigfoot was starting to become somewhat mainstream instead of local lore. She also told me about how she had an experience when she was little. While her parents were driving up north of Redding California she and her family saw one run across the road. So yeah, ever since I was a kid I had an interest and hopefully I can keep up with stuff on here. Cheers

  6. Love the last few pics of the K5, I had my H3 in exactly the same attitude yesterday, on a trail run with 4low BC. The rig behind me said my left rear tire was 2' off the ground as I went over the rock ledge on an old, very steep washed out trail. Of the 12 rigs on the run, only one broke, and it was on the same drop off that she tore a drag link off her old XJ. We locked her axle in place with a few ratchet straps and her own winch line, so she could make it the 20 km back to pavement and a tow to a shop.
