  1. Yeah… but, seeing as how we don’t have a Sasquatch skull for reference… the wide variance in witness reports concerning the face and head, well… there are reports of these creatures appearing ape-like as well. To me, the Meldrum skeleton is a educated guess…but it’s still a guess.

  2. Even though it’s looking like some sort of click bait… How awesome would it be if a guy who dresses like an extra from High Plains Drifter and gets stung by bees on camera for a living was the one who found definitive proof?

  3. This is clearly a gorilla, but why? I mean, coyote is a character for sure, he's don't some more serious shows and also the whole getting bitten and eaten thing. He was the guy who wore a suit to be eaten by a reticulated python and all. However I've indirectly worked with him years ago on a serious conservation show about hellbenders. I helped, along with the university I was at, on putting him on the species and showing them how to find them. That was a very serious effort with animal planet back in the day, but like I said he also did a lot of click bait stuff being bitten and stung by all sorts of nasty critters. One thing about the teeth I don't like though, the ageing on the teeth and skull seem to be... Different if that makes sense.

  4. Hi, I'm Morgan! I'm in my late 20s and by day I run a preschool in Washington State. I grew up rough (no electric/water/gas, hunting/farming/foraging food, one room cabin type stuff) in rural Alaska and, as some of you may already know, Alaska has a way of instilling a certain respect for the unknown. I've been very interested in cryptozoology and unexplained phenomenon my whole life. In 2008, on Beaver Creek, Yukon CA, my three siblings, mother and I experienced a sasquatch sighting. I will make a separate post about that. I have also had another cryptid experience since then, unrelated to sasquatch, that was honestly scarier and much more difficult to reason away. My interests and experiences led me to briefly host a podcast covering some of the PNW's unexplained phenomenon, and continue to drive my exploration of the Pacific Northwest and its natural and unnatural history.

  6. It's a crime, I work for WV DNR, if this was removed from a park it's 100% illegal, second it was removed from a foreign park AND smuggled through customs, that's now two separate fines.

  8. another reason this could be a fake is he admitted he possibly committed a crime by concealing and transporting remains of a exotic animal through US customs and TSA on social media which is most likely a crime... lol

  10. Just saw this on Instagram and told my wife OMG I have to get on Bigfoot forums!!! and see what everyone thinks, lol, how crazy it would be if if this is real and there were an ape species in north America. wouldn't teeth age different from bone since there is enameling on teeth? I collect found skulls and the teeth on some older ones look almost new, and most resellers who sell skulls most of the time do a bleaching process on them also it's really hard to tell without clear shots of the skull most replicas can easily be spotted through flashing areas (if molded) or stop and start points if 3D printed

  14. One thing that strikes me as weird are the lack of prominent human-like glutes, as we should expect to see them on a Primate that's closer to us than a Chimp, but we really don't and that tells me it's some Bear in a really odd position. More than happy to be wrong though

  15. Just like swamp gas or Venus on the horizon when people have witnesses a UFO. It’s the safe explanation. Even when our eyes and logic tell us different.

  16. I think the most interesting aspect of the research being conducted in area X might be the radio tag that was self attached to an unknown animal. The circumstances involved and resulting data is perplexing yet extremely interesting. I haven't read the book yet, but the I personally find NAWAC and the Olympic Project two of the more interesting science based groups researching this topic. One post comments that we only know what information NAWAC allows us, but honestly that applies to virtually every research organization out there.

  17. Yeah it arrived for me last week too and i'm really looking forward to reading it. I know for sure from people that have already read it that there are clear and uniformed comparisons to certain aspects of what's in this book and what they were recording/experiencing in there, to what we have in the Olympic Project Nest Area, which excites me greatly.
