  1. Outstanding post. I agree with almost all of it. Especially agree about the Jacobs bear 🐻

  2. What's interesting is even if it's hoax video, it's got some very interesting stuff in it. And it has one thing in it I personally can't recall seeing in any other Bigfoot video. Starting at about :13 or so, as BugMaster mentioned, you can hear the sound when the figure rips bark or wood off the tree, and it is rather loud a couple of times. At :20 - :21, you can see the figure has to give an extra hard tug to get a piece of bark off. It's hard to say just how much strength that took. At :40 - :41, we can see the figure throw a piece of wood into the water just a few feet from the tree. You can both see and hear the splash. The piece looks like it's about 3-4 ft. long and maybe 4-5 inches wide? I also wonder if this means the figure, whether real or a man in a suit, is standing in several inches of water. This part is the one I've personally never seen before in a video. It's what we see in the sequence from about 1:37 - 1:45. Starting at about 1:37 - 1:38, you can see the figure looks like it has it's hand almost up against it's mouth, with something whitish colored in it, presumably food. Then it moves it's right hand away from it's mouth, with the food still in it's hand, and into the hollow part of the tree. Then it brings it's hand from in the tree back up to it's mouth again, with more whitish colored food in it, and it moves it's hand back into the tree with the whitish color food still in it's hand. The figure didn't appear to have actually eaten any of the whitish colored food. You never see the hand come up to it's mouth and then appear empty when it put it's hand back into the hollow of the tree. It's as though it was checking out the food to see if it wanted to eat it but decided not to. As a hoax video, the last part about bringing food to it's mouth a couple of times is a very unusual detail to put in the hoax. I had read somewhere in the past that someone said there was a wild bee hive in the tree, and that is what the figure was after. I can't remember who said it or if it was true or not, or if they were just speculating that's what the figure was after. I've seen honey before and haven't ever seen whitish color honey; although the color comes from what the bees feed on. If the whitish colored "food" we see in the figure's hand in the video was wild honey and comb, it's hard to see a real skunk ape not eating it. Although maybe it got it's fill when we couldn't see just what it was doing inside the hollow of the tree. Besides wild honey, another alternative would be worms or grubs in the rotted wood.

  3. Thanks for posting this link. Being new to this forum, I truly appreciate links to past discussions of topics being revisited especially when "old" stuff is "new" for some.

  4. ^^^ This. I don't bother with most bigfoot movies because you know it's fiction, and once you see a few, they're pretty much the same. Harry and the Hendersons was quite different, since it was produced as a comedy, and it was a pretty good one. Sighting videos and pics deserve a look. The vast majority turn out to be either nothing but a dark hole in foliage with a red circle drawn around it, or something like the Jacobs pic; an animal in an interesting pose which ellicits excitement, but which will turn out to be nothing of import. The photographic evidence to really take stock in is that which comes with supporting evidence: multiple on-site witnesses, casted footprints, hair samples, motion picture over still photo, etc. Even then, as the PG film has proven without question, it will "prove" (as defined by the skeptic and science industries) absolutely nothing. But such photographic events, depending on how current, does provide opportunity to find more trace evidence, data, and the possibility for more encounters with prepared researchers. This is here the BFRO came in with the Jacobs photo event. IMHO, it was conducted with much fanfare, which made it poorly done, and it likely provided little more but additional manufactured reports, which soiled previous reports, and mass media exposure for the organization.

  5. Always been one of my favorites. Personally I rank it as the 2nd best video behind the PGF. That all being said, it’s unable to move the needle in any way. Interesting nonetheless.

  6. This is the Mississippi Skunk Ape video, and as Skinwalker mentioned, it's been around a while. This tells more about the background. It says it was filmed nine miles west of Tunica, MS. That distance west of Tunica would be very close to the Mississippi River. https://bigfootevidence.blogspot.com/2013/10/breaking-mississippi-man-films-skunk.html

  7. I took a bow hunting education class and they said ALWAYS carry Benadryl or equivalent allergy pills. Having these in my pack saved a buddies life when he got stung multiple times by bees. Another person I know died from bee stings.

  9. This is the circle that we are stuck on and still have not change. Patty is has nothing to do with what is happening today and it does not matter. Patty is just an observation that was filmed by some key witnesses and that's all. If she was never filmed there would be no one talking about this creature now. It is our thought process that needs to change and how we are to interact with these creatures that need changing. If we are stuck on the same thing and are seeing no results then we need to change to get the results that we want. This is what is happening to those who are getting results . They learned to change the way to interact with these creatures. In other words they have discovered what was needed to interact. Achieving results that others have not thought of trying cause it sounded to crazy. Only to believe that these creatures could be either Human /ape or just a new type of ape. So they used tactics that would only work on apes/chimps achieving zero results. Applying these methods do not work cause if they did science would be having interaction with these creatures in the now and they don't.. We need to learn from those who's methods are working and stick to them.Maybe then we will not need that body but have evidence of the way they live. Which is way better then murdering one of these creatures that might have played a big part in our evolution. The part that really scares the hack out of me. Since this can change a lot about our **belief** Maybe this is why they should remain elusive, myth, a long remaining mystery. I know that I can be happy with this even though I know that I have had my own encounters with them. But we all need to change the way that we search for them.
