  1. 3 biggest possibilities IMO; 1) Does not exist. 2) Extremely rare and elusive. 3) Has gone extinct since the PGF was filmed.

  2. A fascinating take, and one I agree with imho. Here's a neat video on tool use and human beings.

  3. Lotta heat & draught down here in Texas, but that's nothing compared to anyone connected to Kentucky, my thoughts & prayers are with you There are a few places still holding water, and are spring fed as it looks clear, with a nice stand on Cattails in one of them. You can see in the pics where a few have been pulled up from the front row, looks like 3 or 4 plants. Whatever pulled them up took them someplace else and no sign of them. Why not pull them all up.....food is very scarce out there, is this practice possible conservation for a future snack?

  4. Cause of death was undetermined, but animal scavenging was clear. Murder is possible, as was bear attack. He had a bad habit of walking into his cabin unarmed, and there were definitely sneaky, bad-attitude grizzlies there. Even though he was just a month away from his 90th birthday, he was in better condition than most people are at 60. I still plan a visit to the spot where his remains were found to erect a small monument to his memory. He was a very special man. I would love to catch a careless brown bear while there. Maybe next May.........

  5. Produce one. Sorry to be abrupt, but folks have been reporting "black panthers" for generations. None have been produced. No carcass, nor pelt. In this case, I'm believing Science. Prove them wrong. Go on. (I'm not calling out CelticKevin, merely drawing attention to the lack of evidence.) Logic dictates large house cat.
