  1. I’ve heard multiple account of BF being shot. I know of 0 accounts of a BF body being recovered and presented to science. What can we learn from this? Multiple scenarios. 0 of which I know or believe. 1.). BF is shot but so close to human it’s hidden/disposed of. 2.) BF is shot and recovered by other BF. 3.). BF is shot and kept secret by said shooter for various reasons. 4.). BF does not exist and thus never shot. 5.). BF is shot but never in an area recoverable by Human. 6. BF is shot and is not of this earth. ( not exploring this option obvious reasons of BFF policy) 7.) BF. Cannot be killed by human means. There are plenty other reasons and many flaws in my “scenarios”. The answer is perplexing if we start all assumptions on the idea of BF being a real phenomenon short of idea #4. IDK. I’m just a normal country bumpkin that loves the subject. I have 0 answers and 1 class B or maybe C experience that started me down this path. Hoping one day someone smarter than me figures this all out!!! 🤷🤷

  2. People like Duckman say Bigfoot is a joke. That's fine. I am more than open to the idea it could be Bigfoot does not exist. In such a case, Duckman and others will prove to be right. Yet, I have never understood why anyone certain of such a view would spend even a second on a BFF. I would caution about saying Bigfoot is a joke. Reasonable people can be impressed with the PGF for instance or seemingly credible and reluctant eyewitness reports. Any TV show, book, movie, Discovery Channel special, suit replication, or whatever is obviously not intended for Duckman and those equally suited. Why? Because they think Bigfoot is a joke them. Being somewhat undecided, I am open-minded. I see it we have 3 groups: 1- Bigfoot does not exist 2- Bigfoot might exist 3- Bigfoot certainly exists I would say Finding Bigfoot is a show which could only appeal to group 3. I think it is a very poor vehicle for appealing to group 2. Nothing will appeal to group 1 other than a body on a slab. I have to think those in group 1 will at least respect how Discovery Channel and other well produced shows handles the subject manner. If they don't feel that way about Finding Bigfoot, count me in as well.

  3. I've heard a sasquatch make a two toned whistle. Actually, two who were hunting. It was my very first encounter, the one that started it all for me. Being a smartass, I whistled back and they eventually triangulated towards me until they were eight car lengths and 12 car lengths from me behind two buildings.

  4. That’s probably the single biggest thing BF needed. Bigfoot was a fringe topic in the past, I think it has only benefited from the ol mantra of Bad publicity is better than no publicity.

  5. Humans' varied vocal abilities include whistles of many sorts of volumes and sound effects according to needs. I think the hairy people use sounds that we do and more due to their increased sizes/lung volume, anatomical and behavioral differences. There is enough evidence, including native history, to state without doubt that whistles are commonly used in their communications. Not to mention their mimicking skills, which is a whole other topic. I've heard them described as whistle-chirps before elsewhere. Interesting report: http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=62496

  6. All the more reason to go to places where other people almost never go. The farther you go offtrail, and the more challenging the terrain is, the more likely it will be that a human was not involved in whatever you heard or saw. I've purposely done wood knocks where the sound of my knock was directed toward a swamp. No way a human would be there during the day, much less in the inky black of night, waiting to hoax someone who might come along. It worked spectacularly one night.

  7. In my long life, even before legal adulthood, I almost never went into the woods without being armed, and now I rarely go anywhere in public unarmed. I guarantee that they can be killed. Men have killed even blue whales on an industrial scale. Any of the rifles I regularly go afield with can easily kill a sasquatch, even if it escapes wounded to die later. I'm quite literally gunned for bears.......BIG bears........because I live in an area known for big bears. That written, and even though I formerly thought that killing a sasquatch for the advancement of science was valid, I no longer believe that a sasquatch should be intentionally killed. However, just one bluff charge or stalking event, and if I get a shot, I'll punch a hole through one with no regrets whatsoever, and I'd have no problem leaving it right where it falls for its kin to drag away or for the birds to feed on.
