  1. I got out for a few hours this afternoon to look for blacktails on a mountaintop clearcut about 40 minutes from home. The trip was uneventful, other than losing a centre cap off one of my wheels. I saw no game at all, and no droppings or tracks, either. Some of the highest local mountains got a few inches of snow on Friday night, as our months long drought finally broke, but the area where I went wasn't quite high enough. The only thing of interest I found was a parasail launch point, and shortly after I met one of the users, who lives at the base of the mountain, and can sail right down to his own yard! Those guys are crazy to jump off a mountainside over a forest of tall trees. :-0 The first 3 pics are looking WNW, NE, and ENE from the clearcut. The last 2 pics are the site of the parasail launch, looking ESE towards my home on the far centre of the horizon, and WSW.

  2. You're a chemist. DNA is chemistry. So as a chemist have you experience in studying that technology? If not then would you trust a chemist who has the ability to assess anomalies in raw DNA data results that show a novel primate in the wilds of North America other than Human? A nice explanation for why you would or wouldn't would be good. I only came back onto the Forum to ask you this question- then outa here.

  4. I've seen this guy several times in YouTube. All of his sasquatch stories are new to me. He hikes to a location, introduces his beer for the night, pops the cap and pours his beer into a mug, and gets with the story. He appears to be like that How to Hunt guy, but not as long winded. Apparently, people email these stories to them.

  5. Hello Bigfooters. This is GenesRUs checking in. Some of you may remember me, as I was a member of the previous version of The Bigfoot Forum using the same screen name. I was not a frequent poster at the time, but I did contribute several lengthy posts to the entire "Ketchum Affair". I am a biochemist/molecular biologist by training and I thought my expertise might be useful in understanding and debating Dr. Ketchum's claims and publication. I got involved in Bigfoot after reading John Napier's book in 7th grade, and have been interested in the topic ever since. I was the first BFRO contact in Colorado, but was swiftly retired as I was busy with career and kids, and never had sufficient time to follow up on sightings. Currently, my family spends summer weekends camping, fishing, climbing, etc in Colorado. I've had 2 unusual events, one in northern New Mexico and one in northern Colorado, but no actual sightings. I look forward to perusing the entire website, and hope I can make some useful and meaningful contributions.
