  1. I don't have to tell you I was a bit surprised myself. I've told him early on that I would never bother him with anything but the most critical of subjects. It started with the WA nest discoveries, which he knew nothing about. A year later I send him an overnight audio from a wilderness location that had over one hundred tree knocks from 1am until sunrise. A year later,, just this last Fall, I sent him some DNA results to assess. Again I reiterated that I would never contact him unless I had something that I felt was scientifically important. He said not to worry at all about that because he always enjoys our conversations. It's a very good open door that I worked hard opening and so will not abuse it.

  2. I just came across what looks like an older video called An Introduction to Bigfoot : A Forfend Historical Documentary Where they make the claim that sasquatch arose from monkeys that seemingly crossed the Atlantic from Africa to South America on vegetative rafts, then diverged into to "the sasquatches" 3 species of large stature while still in South America, only later migrating northward due to interspecies conflict. The clip goes on to ascribe certain communicative behaviors to sasquatch of differing intelligences, the heights of which being woodknocking. Ive never seen this one before, nor heard the Africa~~>South America ~~>North America route.. Here s the link The description of the development and proffered taxonomy almost make me think this was done by those trolling the community, but they sound sincere(well ...they re not giggling, anyways) not much in the way of stills, but rather what seems like a lot of stock nature footage.....

  3. I certainly believe there is something in the human psyche that fears ape men.

  4. I am sure there is a real distrust of technology. In primitive human tribes it can get you killed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinelese

  5. Ok here they are. I hope this better helps with the context of how i explained the situation in the quoted post.

  6. I think Shadowborn rejects the suggestion being made by the film that BF is an ape. I noticed that too when I watched it and disagree with it. The depictions on the documentary are almost of an orangutan. I'll just say that a nest type structure doesn't necessarily mean BF is an ape.

  7. Don't be so sure about that. The specific Huckleberry that was used for each and every nest plus the 'new' February nest were all made with one of only three species of Huckleberry (from a total of twenty six North America wide as per ISU) that are used as a 'birthing aid' for medicinal purposes. There were piles (big piles) of these leaves plucked and piled up directly adjacent to the nest itself.

  8. I like Randles because he is a blue collar guy who owns his own business. I think your right about him and the group.

  9. Saw it on a previous trip actually Norse, that and another monster tree, maybe a Doug Fir ? I done the loop road a couple of times on this trip and just relaxed mainly with a few glasses of Vino and read some books, it was hammering down for 20/24 hours a day minimum. I badly needed some me time and a re-charge. I doubt they ran him off for want of a better term, i'm sure he checks in now and again, who knows. I'd bet you all the tea in China he'd prefer to be active doing stuff with his family or out doing his thing in a forest than being stuck behind a computer answering a million and one questions though..;) Got to say I trust my own judgement where people are concerned impeccably and i've seen enough over the years to think that the Olympic Project are full of good people, good people who try genuine their best in what they're doing. They may not be everybody's cup of tea but I think they're good, honest people and to me that means more than anything, personally. What they chose to share or not to share regarding these nests and anything else they're working on right now is completely their choice. They're not some mega secretive group and i'm sure anyone who wants to know about x or y (just talking in general now Norse, not to you) about anything can touch base with them and they'll be as open as they can be.
