  1. If you have “discovery” then please post. Other than that, your rants about how everyone else should proceed in these inquiries are increasingly more and more annoying.

  2. The sheath appears to be treated leather but I can’t be certain. It is a very rigid sheath. The red binding feels like vinyl.

  3. Nice collection! I like how Puma labels the points of the blade for which use where, never saw that before. Cool find, nice condition and box too. What's the sheath made out of, is that leather or?

  4. There has already been discussions on that aspect. What I'm finding out is that not only do discussions continue to go around in circles, the same mechanism is at work with answers that are supposed to address progress. Answers that show that, even if people have read solutions to a problem before, they will still answer in a manner that shoots down progress. And this includes how to work at getting testing for little or no cost. People seem to conveniently forget that part of a previous discussion. At least with an answer like the above they aren't willing to bring up a lick of anything positive. But I presented TWO alternatives. the second was set up a meeting go talk to F&W. My own F&W WILL go out and sample cougar and/or wolf tracks for DNA should I find and report any any and the evidence looks good. On their dime. They will also go out and sample Sasquatch tracks also if the evidence looks good. On their dime. The real issue here is one of straight out resistance by members to step up, stand up, and take matters into their own hands. Heck, I'm 74 years old, can be taught new tricks, LEARN new tricks, and can can all my F&W, set u a meeting, and walk in the door and sit down and talk to someone, and leave them compelling research materials which they say they will go through and then give me their thoughts. And this is on top of a stated willingness to go into the field and sample rare species ASAP. Does this make me a better researcher than anyone else for doing this? Or make my F&W better than someone else's? NO!! It does not, in neither case. All that my doing this shows me is that people here that battle constantly against progress are showing their true colors. I've said it before and I'll say it again, all the money spent on going solo into the field: gas, vehicles, thermal equipment, guns, clothing, tenting gear, and everything else is in the thousands...PER PERSON. So IMO, griping about DNA sampling costs, when there are ways to get it done for free, is an argument that carries no weight whatsoever. This brings me to another point that I've brought up before: The apparent agenda to stifle anything that could advance this subject to the kind of hard evidence that would matter where discovery of Sasquatch existence is concerned. And I can almost predict what will come next here.

  5. Speaking of rubber handles. I just got this pre 1964 Puma SeaHunter. The blade is made of Stainless Steel. I don't think this thin has seen much use. I am pretty happy with the condition.

  6. Proof and video analysis should not be used in the same sentence ever.

  7. eh, just post it anonymously, it's not anyone would believe it anyway. Best to share it than keep it hidden and stifling research imho For the greater good

  8. We have some members who are really active in research and searching for a visual of one . I figure maybe who knows ? Where I live there isn't any to research or try and film . At least I'm convinced of it so research is pointless in my humble opinion . Some members live in hot spots and have found some evidence being possible prints . I would just love to see something new posted of a recent photo or game camera film .

  9. Does anyone have any recent proof of the Sasquatch's existence that they could post? Does anyone have any opinions on what the creature, if extant, could be that wasn't already mentioned 50 years ago? Anything to move the stuck needle at all? Anything better than the PGF? Anything better than the 200 plus footprint casts that Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum has? Anything better than Cindy Dosen's hair sample collection? Anything better than the DNA studies that have been done to date? Sure would like to see it, any of it, if anyone would like to share what they have to help the Sasquatch community move its needle even a small fraction from where it is now. What about those nest structures in Washington State? Still there? Any new ones since the last find back in February 2020? Any fresh DNA samples taken from the area that won't get put onto the back burner for a year and a half? Or untested due to labs being too busy with Covid 19 research like back in 2020? Any new water samples taken from the salmon stream headwaters below the nest site's finger ridges to test? Or are these questions not as important or, depending on the level of interest, more important to discovery and proof than photos? I keep waiting for this Forum to get serious but have yet to see much beyond ignoring the things that could honestly solve the relative blankness within the subject. I do see new members come on board and question where this Forum is at and so this isn't just me. The only difference is someone new might posit such a question after being here a short time, while I've been here for nearly ten years and am asking the exact same thing. Yes! This is a discussion Forum but that isn't the point nor is it the issue. The issue is what gets discussed and most of it isn't about Sasquatch OR discovery. The sad part is everyone here, including the long-timers, know what will move the needle but for some odd reason stay with the things they know won't. Could someone perhaps please walk me through why that is? Because, personally, I think discussing methods that will move the needle are okay to discuss. Then again, maybe not? IDK. Any insights on the reason for the chronic stagnation here, believe me, would be appreciated,

  11. Plussed BobbyO. I pretty much fit exactly the profile of someone Norse or Bipto would consider to be likely pro-kill. Have hunted, fished, trapped and competed in high-power rifle matches. Hold an advanced degree in the hard sciences, hold a professional job, and am in excellent health. Very analytical, no one ever accuses me of being warm and fuzzy. But I also had a stare-off with one of these things in broad daylight. I'm no-kill for life.
