  1. Absolutely correct. If she isn't, if they aren't, NOBODY on earth is. That is why what she did piques my curiosity. If she were not qualified, it wouldn't be interesting, it'd just be meh, more of same.

  2. I would go with your comment. You know them, or maybe you don't. Somethings........ Camera flashes evolved from flash powder, flash bulbs ( battery capacitor flash ) to electronic flash. Those methods caught the human eye with a dilated pupil and the resulting 'red eye' in the pictures. Modern flash set ups have a low power 'pre-flash' just before the major flash. The pre-flash causes the pupils to constrict so the red eye effect is minimized. Automotive headlights are continuous output so our pupils adjust to a small opening.

  3. Larryzfoot maybe? Ya' know, after being banned once, you might want to use some creativity when slinking back in. Maybe being banned twice might make you understand what it's like to publish in "respected" science journals. "Folks" might just not want to hear.......or "publish".........your intellectual offerings..........

  5. LOL........that's almost signature material. I can see now the depth of your well. She had results. They were published. Did you read the peer reviews, especially the first two rounds? Uhhhm.........we're not talking about a botanist specializing in Africa violets studying this phenomenon. Veterinary science is almost precisely what we need looking into this. And, BTW, there were several labs involved, not just her, and they worked blind.......IOW, they were sent samples without telling them what it was and asking for their analysis. You really don't know what you're posting about, do you? Hmmmmm.......larryzed.........do we know you by another name?

  6. Science isnt an ideology its science. She has no results and not qualifications. Shes a veterinarian and a grifter. Not a geneticist.

  8. Around 1980 mostly before my interest in all things Bigfoot, a local mechanic in NC was just chatting with me about his time in Vietnam and just casually mentioned about about large age like figure trying to scale the fence when he was on guard duty. Always thought that it was interesting.

  9. Scientific voices have been, and will be there, whenever there is solid scientific evidence. We HAVE scientific voices in this community, but sometimes those voices say ambiguous things or incomplete truths. And sometimes folks simply won't listen to what they are saying or how they are saying it. It's risky to be a straight ahead scientist where wording about the Sasquatch is concerned. Being too circumspect does foul up the narrative but if one uses some logic from the different elements of the larger picture then filling in the blanks gets easier. For example, would Dr. Meldrum, Dr. Disotell, or Dr. Mayor ever come right out and say Sasquatch exits even though everything they have known and studied about the creature says that it does? And if they DID come out and say the creature exists would they and their careers survive stating that the creature is definitely a species of Human? I think not! And IF that is true then what chances would a scientific study of ANY kind have of proving Sasquatch existence to be a reality to the public? Why hasn't NAWAC succeeded at some point in the last 15 years? Norseman in the last 10 that I know of? Why hasn't anyone succeeded in the last 60? But we have scientists that I think ARE trying to say things about the creature's existence if we could but listen to them. And I will hold up the nest site's DNA results as an example of what I'm getting at.

  10. It was interesting to read through this thread again. Rep. Humphrey's bill did not pass. His real intent was to try and bring a few more dollars to his area of the state, but for a new revenue generator it looks like they will have to settle for Reba McEntire's new restaurant in Atoka that opened back in late January.

  11. Why I refer to her as a grifter. The old study was a joke, her qualifications haven't changed and 2.0 is just a money grab from gullible donators

  13. I suppose that is remotely possible, but why would an extraterrestrial creature look like a hominid? Why would they look and behave exactly like a primitive human? Why would they walk in the woods without tools (after having traveled here in a craft that we cannot duplicate) and eat wild, raw foods? The odds are (to borrow a phrase) astronomical. They are most certainly a hominid, and most likely a hominin. The odds of them being anything else is simply silly.
