  1. Good! Back on topic. I am thrilled that you are, seemingly, at least considering the notion of Catch and Release, norseman. The pit needs to be deep enough so that the Bigfoot can't jump out. width? the wider the better, within reason, I guess conceal with material similar to the surrounding area we could tranquilize appropriately once captured and evaluated, no? rocks? try a new spot water? Bigfoot proof bilge pump humans falling in? private property, no trespassing night? lights winter? heat and warm clothing cave in? doubtful I don't mean to trivialize those questions, they are good, valid concerns. I just don't see a deal breaker there.

  4. No. I was writing a book, and when you approached me with your project I shelved mine and helped you with yours. Because I really don’t care about taking credit for the book. I only care that the information gets out there. And my thanks for helping you with the book? Is being called names or even you acting like I am not aware of the book at all. Here is proof that I was writing a book before you were. I was in the oilfield and working long hours and so I picked at it when I could. http://projectgrendel.blogspot.com There is nothing misleading here Hiflier. I am not trying to steal credit for your book. I am simply telling the truth. Much of the content of your book concerning hunting and collecting a type specimen are MY ideas…. All I ask is that I am treated with some respect and please stop shoving my nose in it! Is that too much to ask?🤷‍♂️

  5. The statement that there is no such thing as a bigfoot expert is laughable. Out of 100% of ANY field of study, who are the experts? The top 1%? The top 5%? When you line up 100 bigfoot "researchers" you are going to find 1-3 who know a LOT more than the others. I would contend that these are experts. The overall advancement (or lack thereof) in the field of Sasquatch research doesn't preclude some folks from just being more experienced and knowledgeable. I don't research Sasquatch in order to prove it to people who think we are insane already. That is my point.

  6. Yeah, and your percentage estimate of “true believers” was likely spot on. The commercialization of sasquatchery (outside of “true believers”) seemed to begin with the movie Harry and the Hendersons……the guy of your avatar. Now? I believe that the more commercialization that occurs brings more accepters (if not believers) into the phenomenon. Glickman was the first researcher to really touch upon the affects of mass media on sasquatch reports: http://www.photekimaging.com/Support/rptcol2.pdf His theory really opened my eyes to report validity. I believe that mass media exposure has a similar affect on acceptance and belief. We can see that affect with regard to UFO/UAP, circa 1947-today.

  7. If you include the bigfoot t-shirt, figurine, movie, documentary, camper, beef jerky, and other industries, you're percentages increase exponentially. They might not "know" that sasquatches exist, but they have a vested interest in keeping them alive, even if only in the minds of consumers.

  8. Many describe this as a relict homonid. Killing a relict homonid is murder. What does anyone gain by some nerds in a university saying "its real" when most of us already know? Killing is not the answer.

  9. I think you need to figure out what will atrack them to your trap first. A dead animal won't do IMO. A live one? an injured live one? maybe Or sex, you need a volunteer to take a bath in chimp/gorilla pheromones and hang out in the trap...
