  1. "the reason I got into bigfoot was when I was researching about creepy pasta and had some weird encounters". Is creepy pasta bad vegetarian spaghetti? Do tell. Attempting to capture an image through a dirty window that has venetian blinds and objects outside in close proximity to the camera is difficult. The auto focus will go crazy. A comparison image after the blobsquatch may be helpful. A couple comments: don't shoot through glass, turn off auto focus and have some measuring tools. Good luck. Is Kawartha in Canada?

  2. I really enjoy Bob's channel. His story telling and presentation style is compelling. The artwork is entertaining. Unfortunately, his original illustrator, Fred Dunn passed away recently. How this impacts Bob, and his channel, not sure but surely will color Bob's motivation and scripts for a while, as losing a friend can do. This is a compelling video, and I'm glad Bob calls out the uncertainty.

  3. My best friend and mule packing buddy came over with his wife for a Xmas party. The subject of Bigfoot came up. He is highly skeptical, mainly because he has spent a life time in the forest and never encountered anything. And we both agree that only a body would solve the mystery. But one of his points was…… with all of the trail cameras and cell phones out there why don’t we have more video. And I stopped him immediately and told him we have gobs and gobs…. But nothing that is conclusive. Because videos will never be conclusive. So I started going through videos with him. From Fred Eichler to this video. We even hashed over the PGF. He admits that the PGF looks real. So maybe I planted a seed of doubt in his head and he will keep a better look out in the future. We also hashed over the Yeti and how videos of the Yeti being a hoax are much less probable when experienced mountaineers are videoing something at 18000 feet on glacier they cannot readily access and no one has ever been over there. Or just trackways…. All we can do with videos like this is to go look into the area it was filmed and try to get real proof. DNA, biopsy dart or dead Bigfoot. Whatever.

  4. I just watched all of his videos. That same "sasquatch" really gets around. He is everywhere.

  6. No field trip this weekend, but a great meet up with some of the local researchers at the appropriately named Sasquatch Inn for a dinner and gab fest. Besides my wife and I, Thomas Steenburg, MagniAesir and his daughter, and Robert "Stryder" attended. The food was good, as it always is there, and the conversations went on for over 2 hours, mostly Sas related. We didn't solve the mystery, but had a great time chewing away at it.

  7. Today was clear and cold, near freezing, but much too nice to stay inside all day, so at about noon I put my rifle in the truck and headed for the hills. Deer and bear are still open here until Dec.15th, which was a good enough excuse to burn up some expensive gas. I headed for a nearby watershed I was familiar with on the south side of the Fraser River, that extends nearly to the US border, and where I had seen blacktail deer during the summer. The old logging trail was badly potholed, so I aired down to 20 psi for increased comfort and traction, expecting to hit snow at the upper end of the road, but the snowline didn't extend down that low, just lots of frost in the shaded areas. When i reached the end of the road and the clearcut I had planned to hunt, I found a group of 5 rednecks with a campfire going, shooting ***** and target plinking, so there was no point in trying to hunt there. Since I'm pretty much a redneck myself, I stopped and joined them for a chat and a drink. They were new to this spot, so I filled them in on the local landmarks and lore, showed off my Browning BLR, helped them clean up their casings and empties at dusk, and headed back home to make supper for my wife. I saw no game or sign on this trip, but it was still worth it to get out there for the fresh air and scenery. Maybe next weekend I'll get more than photos to bring home.
