I await the, "I was going to post my amazing, incontrovertible video proof but due to the hostility expressed in this forum... I deem you all unworthy." post coming soon. I don't think there is hostility as much as healthy skepticism considering the amount of jokesters with too much time on their hands who've made such claims before. And if the attitudes on this forum bother Lokee so much, heaven help him if he ever tries displaying his "proof" to the wider world.

I've spent a lot of time going through the past threads on this site and have noticed that Bigfooters can be an extremely jealous bunch if another Bigfooter presents proof. If it's NOT "your" Bigfoot, is another's Bigfoot not legit? It's quite apparent that anger festers on here time to time, with some members boiling over and seemingly ready to maim, destroy and kill. Not sure I'd want to be physically in reach of some of you for fear of violence. It's no wonder the BF community CANNOT come together!

It took 3 years and over 100 E-dna samples to confirm a known species. In what were suspected, and turned out to be Golden Mole tunnels. I agree E-DNA is a tool that could prove useful. But this also shows the challenges even this technology has. We can’t just follow a Bigfoot, sample the ground in its wake, and prove it to exist on E-DNA alone. I still say a type specimen will be required.

These species was already recognized(accepted). This was a confirmation of it's current status, not a new discovery. Definitely not analogous to proving the existence of Bigfoot.

After several weeks of nasty weather, we finally got a nice weekend here in the Fraser Valley of BC, so I got out for a short field trip this afternoon. About 2 weeks ago, we got hit with a record one day snow fall of between 25 an40 cm (10 to 17in), followed by 10 days of rain and higher than normal temps, so I wanted to see how much snow was left in the local mountains. I met Thomas and Magni for lunch, but they had other plans for the rest of the day, so I headed to a nearby mountain for a careful solo run. I needn't have worried, since there were only very small patches of snow left in the shadiest spots. I reached the highest point of the logging road system on Murdo Mt., hitting only one 10 yard stretch of snow in the same spot where I was stranded for hours at this time last year. I scouted the little bit of snow, and every wet patch I came across for tracks, but found nothing at all. It was a nice sunny afternoon, but the wind was strong and cold at the peak, so my forays out of the truck were brief. The daylight is now lasting a little longer, so twilight came at about 5, and I headed home for supper. I finally got my computer to talk to my new phone, so I did get a few pics to show for the day.

Wow. For someone criticizing this boards " hostility " you certainly aren't being cordial yourself. Such hypocrisy speaks volumes to one's intentions. Any benefit of the doubt I might have given you is certainly gone now.

With your large claims? It doesn’t exactly = “Low key” either. I can upload a video to youtube in under 5 minutes. Its nothing personal, but long time forum members are pretty cynical because of all the new forum members that make big claims with no evidence and just end up trolls. I wish it wasn’t true, I would love to take everything at face value. But it’s just not the world we live in.
