I was camping along a creek in the fairly remote Idaho wilderness and found a tree that was clearly twisted and bent over at about 8' off the ground with no apparent cause.

Not really. But whatever. I find tree structures to be apart of nature. If a Sasquatch made one? Great. But I would need more evidence than dead trees. Dialogue or no. And in the subject of Sasquatch? You gonna find it’s easy to throw the baby out with the bath water. People dismiss the PGF because of Roger’s sordid past. That doesn’t make what walked across the film any less real. I found a tree break one time that was interesting up by the Salmo Priest wilderness. It was an alpine fir twisted off about 6-7 feet up. The needles were all still green. But no tracks or anything else. It could have been a moose for all I know. But that time it wasn’t wind or another tree, etc. Something absolutely twisted it off.

I am open to the paranormal and have had anomalous events happy to me in the deep woods. However, this case doesn't reek of paranormal as you say, unless you've fallen for David Paulides's missing 411 con.

I don't deal with browns like a few of you guys do it's just blacks . I've probably had at least 100 encounters with them over the years that includes on my property . I never had to use spray because they they always just run off . Just one time I had an aggressive one on my property and it was the only time I feared it was going to attack my dogs . i grabbed the spray because I kept a can at the back door because honestly I don't want to kill it if I don't have to . After a bluff charge it finally took off with my dogs barking it at it but I was armed with my pistol just in case . Most times just me waving a broom and saying get out of here works
