What is that noise? Incident: I hear a horse walking down a cobblestone street in the USA Result: It's more likely a horse but it could be a zebra Incident: I hear horse hooves in Africa Result: It's more likely to be a zebra and unlikely to be a horse. Incident: I see impression in the mud. Result: It's an antelope/ deer (and it's unlikely to be a Bigfoot) Now the issue of noise in the woods. We hear noise in the woods. Whatever it is, it is certainly more likely to be non-bigfoot (and explainable) than Bigfoot making various noises. I'm not saying Bigfoot wouldn't make noises as it would make sense at some point it might need to (warning, mating, and so on). It is just this: the more likely thing becomes the more likely thing.1 point

I did 30 miles through the woods today. My new Jeep is at the dealer getting a new lift kit installed, so decided to take the Tundra into the Idaho woods to scout out some challenging trails for the Jeep, and to see if I could find anything squatchy. Lots of recent rains, so prime conditions for fresh tracks. Not a single sighting of even a deer. Saw at least a dozen hunters, but no game. Found some great off-road trails and did some hiking, but no tracks. The area is known as Gold Hill and is reasonably remote. Beautiful area, but no sign.1 point

What an incredible victory. I think this would be a great time for you to parade back within the impenetrable walls surrounding ISF and trumpet your incredible story of adventure and conquest. Your accolades await you.1 point

I'm having trouble visualizing how the holster was fitted so the firearm was pointed at your face. I'm also wondering how you even were able to notice that he was carrying. If the state you are in allows open carry , then he was legal. If not then allowing a concealed firearm to be observed is considered brandishing. Which is illegal. Why would anyone open carry with a shoulder holster in a grocery store? Nearly all modern holsters are designed to cover the trigger to prevent negligent discharges. The second safest place for my handgun is in it's holster. Finally what kind of person, thinks it would be a good idea attempting to grab a pistol from someone and beating them with it because they are offended? I distrust the veracity of your whole story1 point

Yeah we are not Canada and no one should have to ask permission to the state to carry a firearm . Constitutional carry should not stop at some state borders . It should be through the entire 50 states . It's bull crap some communists states think they can limit the 2nd . What would happen if a few decided only one religion will be practiced in our state . First Amendment: Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition Second Amendment: Right to bear arms Third Amendment: Restricts housing soldiers in private homes Fourth Amendment: Protects against unreasonable search and seizure Fifth Amendment: Protects against self-testimony, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, and due process Sixth Amendment: Right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury, to be informed of the charges, to confront witnesses, to compel testimony, and to legal representation Seventh Amendment: Right to a jury trial in federal courts for civil cases where the claim exceeds a certain dollar value Eighth Amendment: Prohibits excessive bail, excessive fines, and cruel and unusual punishments Ninth Amendment: States that listing specific rights in the Constitution does not mean that people do not have other rights that have not been spelled out Tenth Amendment: States that the Federal Government only has those powers delegated in the Constitution1 point

I'm not a hunting 'expert'. I'm just an experienced hunter, and an experienced bench and competitive shooter, and an experienced reloader. Phil Shoemaker is a hunting 'expert'. I found time to be on the internet over the past 40 years because I was on it before Al Gore invented it. I can also perform multiple tasks simultaneously. You can learn to do so as well. I suggest starting your education with a pack of chewing gum and a nice, long dock............1 point

Hey Huntster, I see that you have 28,900+ Posts on here. How can a hunting 'expert' such as you find so much time to be on the internet?1 point

hmm, the way you over describe your weapons and that "FMJ in the pipe" (sorry, that made me chuckle out loud), it sounds like you look for, intend to create or expect trouble. All I need is my Ruger 77mm Mag and the American Yeti is down! I'm not out to bad.ass the world or be a tough guy-1 points
