The Las Vegas valley is different than most urban areas in that at the edge of any developed area the landscape changes abruptly to desert. This area is not far from Lake Mead. This neighborhood has numerous parks, schools and not too far away a golf course. Most of these are irrigated attracting many thirsty animals prey and otherwise. I never even considered the idea of sasquatch in the Mojave desert, Colorado River or not. However I had a "not sure" sighting at Lake Mead in autumn 2019 and now I'm open to the idea of them traveling the Colorado as a nomadic or migratory route.
