  1. For this "They Know" idea to be true, we have to agree a lot of other things also need to be true: This means the government has the ability to find all these lost people in the woods and lets them freeze to death and so on. All those bodies found are allowed to die by the government who could have saved them but chose not to. This same government let the Virginia state park search go on for a missing special needs child to go one for a 1 week. The heck with those resources and all 5,000 volunteers doing the searching. The Government is choosing for this to be allowed. After all it's only a scared lost and hungry kid out in the elements. When Billionaire adventurer Steve Fosset died in the wilderness, they knew all along where his craft went down. They were fine to waste the time of all the search parties and recovery people so it would take a year to find the wreckage/crash. When we test what we think might be true it helps to ask, "If this is true then these other things must also be true" I'm not trying to be a smart Alec. I'm trying to appeal to what I feel is a more reasonable position. If you still don't agree with me that is more than fine with me but at least understand why I and others might hold a different position. It is a position that seems to hold up time and time again in real world examples.

  2. I wrote a post about the 'bones' argument a couple months ago on substack. There's a field of study called 'comparative thanatology' that has some application here -- its the study of how different species deal with the death of members of their group, flock, pod, herd, colony, etc. You can find it here if interested: https://thesocialbigfoot.substack.com/p/where-are-all-the-bones

  3. http://www.bigfootencounters.com/sbs/ftlewis1.htm Well, since you clearly don't know about it, "we all" don't know about it. I'm not familiar with that magical glass. I understand. Nor do I believe that Sasquatches have been drafted into military service. I'm just confident that if Sasquatches exist, they existed on Ft. Lewis lands, and if they existed on those lands, some within the Army knew about it. You don't have to believe that if you don't wish to. No offense taken. Most definitely, but not solely. Again, the Army is downright fanatical about control. They want to control all access to everything on their lands. This even includes wildlife in some circumstances. You're very welcome. I was happy to try to do so. I understand and agree, and that's fine. Either or both of us might be (and likely are) incorrect on our opinions. Indeed, sasquatches might not even exist (which is why I qualified my opinion on the Army knowing about them if they were on Army lands by writing, "if Sasquatches exist,...........").

  4. And yet no one dares comment about the genuine audio I captured. Only ad hominem attacks to preserve their faulty view of the topic. We are dealing with something much smarter than humanity, not just some below average IQ relic hominid, as so many people on this site want to believe.

  5. Nonsense. 1) Finding one missing child within a couple of days? Is not the same as detecting a breeding population of ape men over DECADES. 2) A missing child could be anywhere. Unlike the U.S. Border that hasn’t changed its lines for over two centuries. So the border is being watched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. What are the chances that a breeding population of ape men crosses that border regularly? Almost assuredly! 3) I was a volunteer firefighter for 17 years. Our SAR team was attached to the County Sheriffs department. They were volunteers like me. Our funding in rural America was minimal. Compare and contrast that to the various agencies within the Federal government and the branches of the military? 4) I don’t know if you’re aware but there is a cut line between the USA and Canada. With motion detection equipment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada–United_States_international_border_vista This isn’t a SAR mission in Timbuktu National Forest in Georgia. This is a defended and monitored international border…. And we are not searching for one small child. We are asking if the U.S. government with its trillions of dollars worth of assets has EVER detected a breeding population of 800 lbs ape men? There is NO WAY the U.S. Government doesn’t know the truth. All we can do is speculate as to why they do what they do.

  6. You are not understanding the context. It is not about whether or not bigfoot exists, it is about whether a conspiracy to conceal bigfoot exists. We were discussing whether concealing bigfoot is worth gov't murdering citizens. If there is a conspiracy to conceal it has been 100% effective so far as suppressing verifiable evidence. We have nothing but supposition, rumors, and flawed logic presented as if it was evidence. I don't believe that anything short of being killed can keep some people quiet. I don't think we have verifiable evidence of people being murdered by our gov't to keep them from releasing proof if they had it. In other words, I don't buy the conspiracy crap in the slightest. I think there are simpler, and fully adequate, explanations, they simply fail to titillate the drama junkies so they are dismissed inconveniences.

  7. I thought you were a Bigfoot witness? Or am I not understanding your quote correctly? I have personally seen Washington Fish and Game make bald faced lies with a straight face. One biologist told us houndsman there were only 50 cougars in all of Ferry county. We laughed in his face. They were of course trying to get hounds outlawed and they did. Using that bogus number helped their cause. I also saw a Grizzly Bear where there were none supposed to be. The biologist just smirked. It was at my kids Hunter safety course. They absolutely have an agenda, and the U.S. fish and game with the reintroduction of Wolves seems to be lock step with Washington fish and game. So if they know something about Bigfoot? Do you honestly think they are gonna tell us? They won’t tell us about problem Grizzlies being released in our neck of the woods. I don’t trust them as far as I could throw them.

  8. This is where I found the “handprint”. I got out to scout the snow berm and it was right there at my feet. Dumb luck. There was traffic on the road in the mud and snow and people were getting stuck from probably a day or two before. But part of the print in the mud went under the snow or it appeared too. 🤷‍♂️ Not saying anything, but it was interesting.

  10. MIB I couldn’t agree more. Perfectly said. All I’m saying is Bigfoot doesn’t reach that level. Some other things do.

  11. I signed up in 2021 but was busy and did not come back often. So I am reintroducing myself! My grandbabies call me Yaya. We live in the Central Sierras. I have not seen a bigfoot and I do not have to see to believe lol. Thank you!

  13. Howdy all, and hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Haven't been hiking much and is driving me insane, still a one-eyed jack and felt it was too dangerous, especially since I am always alone....all you serious hikers out there know how precise your footing needs to be, and it's just slightly off with 1 eye....but have adjusted my hikes, going slower, and have eliminated any climbing, plus my eye is adjusting....finally! Here are a few pics coming out of this remote Spring, and have shown many prints over the years at this spot. The 3rd pic was at a sighting location I was called out to, and is a Wolf Sanctuary that has been getting nightly visits. The last 2 pics really blew me away......I haven't used glass peanut butter jars in 15+ years, and found this one about 2 miles from my gift location, and in thick brush, amazing!

  14. 1) If Sasquatches exist, reporting data alone demands they have existed on Fort Lewis, WA, at some point since the creation of Ft. Lewis as an Army post in 1917 (just 27 years after the end of the American Indian Wars). Reporting data strongly indicates that Ft. Lewis features an enduring population of these creatures passing through on a regular basis, and a century ago might well have had a decent resident population. There are documented reports of soldiers seeing them, and even shooting at them, as well as civilians on and around the post seeing them. Pierce County pretty much has the highest report counts in the BRFO database for the entire continent. The U.S. Army has every tool and asset necessary to "catch" the strongest physical evidence of these creatures, even back in the early days of the post, especially after a half century of chasing Indians around the continent. They also have the ability to do so secretly, both from the knowledge of the public, other government agencies, and even from the knowledge of most of the soldiers and officers on post. 2) The Army has a cultural attitude of superiority over their environment and informational security.......to the point of paranoia. It has been this way since even before the beginning of the U.S. Army's existence when it was still the British Army. If field commanders have Sasquatches running around their facilities, reports will reach people with authority, and some of them WILL utilize their assets to find out what is going on, then they WILL report their findings to their superiors. If told to stop their activities and keep their mouths shut, there is more than a fair chance that they will do as instructed. 3) Especially since the mid-1960's (50 years after Ft. Lewis was founded, and more than 50 years ago from today), the environmental movement is plenty of reason why a post commander would keep the existence of sasquatches downplayed, if not actively covering their existence up, especially on Army lands. There are also numerous other potential reasons, especially if they have determined that these creatures are primitive humans (as the Indians claim), having gone through Indian Wars for some 500 years now. If Sasquatches exist, some within the U.S. Army know about it. You can take that to the bank.

  15. Sure. It used to be if you saw a bigfoot sticker on a car, you could pretty well bet it was either another researcher or someone with deep interest, maybe personal experience. Today bigfoot is the equivalent of a pink flamingo on someone's lawn. There is no stopping cultural absurdity. Stuff is not in your control or mine. All we can do is manage ourselves.

  16. Nope. I am taking everything on a case-by-case basis. Then I will call balls and strikes. We can all agree those who planned the moon landing were competent in that the Saturn V never failed and all 12 men who landed on the moon got home safe. Home run! We could find further examples are great achievements under government direction and competency. We could find all kinds of examples where the government was incompetent. We have to determine that in each instance in its own way based on the goal and the ability to achieve the goal. Back to this issue here: If we are to assume our government has secret knowledge about Bigfoot, then to keep it secret it must have some interest or need to keep it secret. Yet, bigfoot is everywhere as I previously pointed out. So, for the issue of THEY keep things quiet they are completely incompetent. Finally, we once again have to specifically define who is "THEY" Please define specifically who THEY are. I am happy to consider it. Who are they? Who funds them? How many are there? Where do they appear in the budget? Why specifically do they exist to keep the knowledge of Bigfoot quiet? You will not get any argument from me on the concept our government for national defense reasons might use all kinds of tactics to keep things quiet. I just don't think Bigfoot arises to that level of concern. Most people understand the general "science" consensus is- at present time -Bigfoot is UNPROVEN. Some might think Bigfoot is real, some don't, and some think it is possible. Yet, the consensus for now is bigfoot is an unproven creature. As far as Meldrum is concerned, his reputation has increased over time. Even these hardliners who appear on the Bigfoot shows like that Dr. Eric Began say to paraphrase. "We are not saying bigfoot can't exist and I would like it if it did exist from a science standpoint. There are times in history where we would think something doesn't exist only to later be found to be wrong. I am not saying Meldrum is right, but I have to respect that he is applying science to the subject in his study of Bigfoot. In a lot of ways Dr. Meldrum is brave" We have come a long way from when Grover Kranz said, "My university supports me in that they don't fire me for believing in bigfoot" Grover flat out said science won't accept bigfoot until we have a body. We are now to a point these science 'skeptics' will appear on a Bigfoot show and now become open minded. In one of his Youtube presentations Meldrum made it clear science of the 1960's REQUIRED the rejection of Bigfoot based on the linear model as the accepted A - Z path of evolution. This is why those who looked at the 1967 PGF were essentially trained Patty HAD to be a man in a suit since science said something like Bigfoot couldn't exist. After 1970's and 1980s fossil discoveries science was open to the fact you could have multiple lines of evolution in their model. I think Meldrum is respected. Time has been good to him in this way and other academics who proposed Bigfoot could be real. Anyone who thinks the Stanford walking study HURT Meldrum's reputation in the science world is wrong. UFO's have nothing to do with bigfoot unless you are part of the group of people who happen to think UFOs are Aliens and Bigfeet ARE those, Aliens. As far and James Randi is concerned, Randi just holds the position of the state of Missouri: SHOW ME. He is more of an extreme skeptic than I might be if I was one. Yet, Randi has done a good job exposing people claiming certain powers like Geller and his spoon bending. I don't agree with all his conclusions, but Randi would not reject a Bigfoot body on a slab. I think if I had a highly classified secrets and was going public with it some military arm of the USA would silence me. Is that naive? Unless you can come up with a reason people would be willing to kill for (and continue to kill for ) regarding Bigfoot I would suggest keeping bigfoot secret makes no sense. If we could not exploit Santa's skillset the USA would stop him. Agreed
