  1. Your post is absurd. Are you only looking for biased pro-Bigfoot supporting viewpoints? No honest objective views? My comments were completely non-offensive in any way and I was simply stating an honest personal opinion of what I see. Not only is the object the same general shape of a tree break, but it also matches in color. How is that being rude to anyone? Please explain. Can you show me where I "ridiculed" anything? Can you show me where I gave "harsh and relentless criticism"? Can you show me where I "mocked with scornful laughter"? This forum is not exempt from opinions. People here constantly complain about all of this "mockery" and "ridicule", but even when someone posts a simple objective opinion, you blow up and get defensive because it isn't supporting your personal views. If you only want biased pro-Bigfoot viewpoints then just be honest and admit it. Don't disguise it as something else- 'being mercilessly mocked and ridiculed', because that was clearly not the case here.

  2. Does anybody else find it the least bit strange (and perhaps it has been explained somewhere that I missed) that over two years after this account first surfaced, and during which time it has assumed a seemingly ever increasing profile, suddenly this bombshell is dropped during the week that Wes is in Texas visiting with Bob Garrett and his team? The first mention in this thread is clubbedfoot's post on 3/18. With the emails available and the moon phase information to hand, why hold off so long on a matter that is of such obvious importance to the person or persons concerned? WRT Will's sudden departure at the same time, is it possible there was another factor involved? He spent, if memory serves, 8 or 10 years in the Army and earned at least a mid-grade NCO rank. He mentioned in one episode that he was an NCO with a detachment from Ft. Lewis dispatched to assist following the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption. As those of us who served understand, if Uncle Sam has a compelling need for your particular talents you may find yourself back in uniform. Will is in his early fifties, is it possible that someone "suggested" he step back if he wanted to remain a civilian? It wouldn't be the first time that tactic has been utilized to muzzle someone. I don't have any answers; it just raises my antenna a bit when so much excrement splatters on the rotating blades out of the blue, absent the application of large quantities of Composition 4 or something similar.

  3. Except the crashing through the forest canopy part, or the cutting yourself loose and having to get out of the tree part, both of which could be rather noisy. And since 'chutes are expensive, you now have the added weight of your 'chutes and jump gear to pack out. BobbyO and Explorer, Out of 424 NY/WV/PA & "states that don't really count" encounters where I have information on the witness's activity, 100 (23.6%) were driving or walking on a road. Of these 26 were daytime encounters. This number rises to 42 if you include dusk and dawn encounters. An additional 100 encounters involved people engaged in normal activities in or around their home or farm. 43 of these encounters occurred during the day; this number rises to 54 if you include dusk and dawn encounters.

  5. It just is. When you've watched enough evidence come and go, because it either says human or manufactured by one you realize there is a problem. You have to make alot of excuses for a Nonhuman ape to have not just fallen in our lap. How could that not make it into world news?? All the DNA testing should have turned up the new ape, it hides as a piggy back hominin species or it's not really there. If you want to persuade habituators to provide proof, I think you'd have to accept DNA. If your Non-human ape is around, scientists could find it in single gene and 1500 base pairs. Don't turn your back on DNA science just to preserve your argument Norse, it gets to be a rather juvenile tactic.

  6. QUOTE: but the guys threatened to kick me off the "research team" if I tried that again, though in a show of support, Thomas let go with a good Bobo style bellow. : END QUOTE. I here by deny committing any such suport. Not saying BC witness is wrong, I am just denying it. Thomas Steenburg

  7. No anger here. If something like this made me mad I would have never lasted in the Tar Pit. It is only disbelief that someone would make such an obviously incorrect statement. I don't think you are stupid or anything, I just don't think you thought that through well enough. And no one insinuated you are a racist. As I said, I only mention her because it was the only sense I could make of such a nonsensical statement. It was clear in your first reply to the question you had no idea what I meant, so I knew there was no connection. You were the one who kept on about her. I do apologise however if you think that was my intent. I assure you it wasn't. But lost in all of this is a good point you did make, that being, disease could have effected Sasquatch population. There is no doubt that disease took a terrible toll on many Native American tribes, small pox being the main one. So if Sasquatch shares enough DNA with humans, it is possible they would be subject to the same diseases as humans. It could be a reason they avoid us like the plague, pardon the pun. They know we carry disease.

  8. The knocking thing has been one of my peeves for some time. People are doing it when they have no idea what it means to BF. The only data I have is that it may prevent an encounter. When I have entered areas now and then I hear a single knock. What is their purpose for doing that? Is the BF protocol to knock back once? Twice? If I do it wrong for sure they will know I am not a BF. If I do knock back the BF will have some idea of where I am. I don't want them to know. If they want to know, I want them to come looking for me and hopefully blunder into sight when they do. The better they can determine where I am the less likely there is for a chance encounter. I know if they knock several times in rapid succession, it is because they have seen me and they want to warn another BF that I am there. I know that from an encounter I had. If someone can provide data and show me that it has some useful purpose to knock, then I might consider taking it up. But just because some guys on a TV show do it, is not reason enough for me. With the number of human knockers in the woods right now, a knock is most likely is another researcher.

  9. No one is an expert in the world of Bigfooting, and Les is a relative newcomer to this field.......there's no one I would rather have in a survival situation, but looking/researching Bigfoot is an entirely different thing......he's learning. IMO......as long as you are carrying visible technology, cameras etc., you aren't gonna have much luck with the 'money shot' on camera/video. Believe me......the big lugs are totally hip to visible technology, and will avoid it.

  10. ^^^^^^^^^ i busted him on his own forum for his fraud in the idaho backcountry "drop in". just so happened that his film and mine were shot about 20 feet from each other, while we were standing on a forest service road at the stoddard creek trailhead.

  12. Ah...I see the problem here Crowlogic. You think I am some sort of beeleever. Well, if so, let me clear that up right now. No. No I'm not. I'm a reader, an observer of nature and a listener, and I put my personal experiences on top of that pile too. Belief is for those who lack any better methods. I'm not one of those, by a long-shot. In addtiion, as a 56 y.o. myself, I'm delighted to confirm for you that 50 years ain't squat. Nor is 150. It is just acute myopia to think it is. I wish for you some better perspective C.L. I think you may have way over-invested in this thing way too long, and now the backlash has to be dealt with. Well, so it goes. 50 years IS a long time if you are cattywampus on a subject. Like I said, see if you can stop somewhere between the poles this time around. Cheers to you and best wishes.

  13. Crowlogic....here's the thing. Your intepretation of the possibilities in the world is extremely ego-centric. I don't mean to say you have an inflated opinion of yourself, but you are typical of many of those who struggle with this, viewing it through the lens of the self. When you write about how the confirmation: "Hasn't happened in 50 years..." What I read is, "Hasn't happened on MY timetable, because, after all, satisfying MY curiosity is what matters most. To me." When you write things like, "Not a single bigfoot has ever been hit by a truck or totaled a Toyota, not one." What I read is (aside from the fact that you might want to, umm, look into that further): " If it happend I would be sure to know about it." Maybe you would, but possibly you would not. Consider that BF is not all about you my friend, is all.
