  1. I'm aware of three (3) seperate people that have/had a high level of interaction (habituators, to some) with these entities however, once word (aka: location) got out as to the situation, all began having major issues with armed intruders on their property. These people do communicate with each other however, because of previous hacking incidents, you'd probably have to have deep web access to get there, nowadays. So, you have the gunslinger set, hunting for BF and out there firing at shadows, blurs and otherwise unidentified targets. Then, you have the Smjea's of the world that (IMO) did kill one however, when the DNA results were first revealed (to him) changed the story (and, subsequent DNA samples sent to others) to black bear, out of concern for possible criminal justice issues. IMO, the State of Sasquatch Science in 2015 is the same as it has always been, a hockey game being held in an insane asylum.

  2. Sunflower would you consider yourself a habituater? I don't really like that term myself. I am well aware of BF stranger danger reactions. But when I have offered technical support to those that claim to have ongoing habitat interaction it has always been refused for various reasons. Certainly people have the right to privacy and protection of the BF species. But I assume that BF habitation humans are here to share knowledge and information. The frustrating thing for me is if these situations are genuine, it offers a far better chance of learning about BF behavior. Certainly that behavior is modified by the human involvement in the mix, but it is better than guessing about BF behavior which is what most of what we have is based on. Anyway to those who are interested, I offer technical support and use of equipment for anyone that might be interested who have visitors to their property. I would do this without ever visiting the location or even knowing where it is. Certainly willing to work out any mutually agreeable conditions. That offer is on the table for anyone. All I ask is that information documented is shared.

  3. Don't know if BF is telepathic but human behavior pretty much signals what you are up to. I can tell when a human is hunting. What they are wearing, behavior, looking for tracks, carrying a long gun, moving quietly and stalking behavior. Since BF basically does the same thing minus the gun and camo clothes, I think human hunting behavior would be very obvious to it. The only ones I see tromping around the woods with long guns are hunters. Would not take an ape genus to figure that out. The only question to the BF would be what the human is hunting for and if that included them.

  4. I didn't say there are reports of Sasquatch packing around tools or lighting fires. I didn't say they hang out in tool sheds, stealing matches and hand tools and killing cows in barn yards. You're the one that keeps saying that. I said I think they could if they wanted to. Nothing I have said in this whole discussion doesn't "jive" with the mission statement about backing up what I say. If you want to see reports of that behavior, you'll need to look them up for yourself. Why would I want to waste time looking for reports to back up something that I didn't say & you did? I'm not into reading reports anymore, since they started hanging out in my back yard. (And, yes, I have posted evidence of that.) They don't evade all humans, although it's inevitable that they will evade the ones that want to shoot them.

  5. Consider his self-admitted fact that a FTF encounter has never occurred and as such he is totally ignorant of the subject target. Should he someday pull the trigger, it will be upon a target he really has no experience and knowledge thereof and as such is, by definition, a textbook example of unsafe firearm actions. IMO, that is the fatal flaw in his entire premise of operations however, isn't limited to Noresman alone as NAWAC, et al is also hip deep in the same class.

  6. Can you point to any reports of Sasquatch packing around tools or lighting fires? Unfortunately your sig line doesn't jive with the BFF's mission statement about backing up what you say...... So while I don't expect much? I will keep asking. And do you really think that if Sasquatch hung out in our back yards and tool sheds? That he would have evaded us for this long? Suburban Squatch stealing matches and hand tools and killing cows in barn yard? Sure you bet. You don't believe in Sasquatch I think as much as a giant Raccoon!

  7. Good to be seeing science being done even if it makes the skeptics nervous.

  8. The account Branco posted in, I think, the "A Few Field Reports" thread mentioned a gentleman who dozed off in front of his small campfire only to awake to a roaring fire, fueled by a stump clearly transported while he snoozed from a nearby embankment. That certainly speaks to a passing kniwledge of combustion...not to mention a playful sense of humor.

  9. I think they'd certainly be protected, but proven endangered would be another story. I do think certain groups of researchers can put themselves within a few hundred yards of one routinely, and this couldn't be done if these creatures were largely nomadic and rare. Of coarse, these researchers still have to confirm through sightings and evidence that they can do this without the hoax cloud forming overhead. What is needed is a proven method of making contact with the species and that would later provide data on population estimates. If the populations were low, even a proven method would fail most of the time, and if the populations were high and the species was just too reclusive you might see similar results. I view them as secretive stealthy night stalkers that don't like to give themselves away too often, at least that's how they come off here in the south to me, but other groups seem to have more aggressive activity at times. Maybe that's in their methods but as long as that produces something it can be affirming to those involved.

  10. Wow! Romantic notions are not easily dispelled - but I will try to add some facts. Native Indians in Alberta used buffalo jumps to kill far more buffalo than they could use. That is why there are areas in which the bones are piled 40 feet high in some areas and 25-30 feet thick. Think of hundreds of buffalo piled high - some dead - others not - thrashing and bleeding and bellowing out in pain. They could get to the ones on top - but the ones 10 or fifteen animals below were impossible to retrieve. The meat rotted long before they could butcher the ones on top and get to them. The Peigans took only the tongues and fetus' - sometimes the humps. There are lots of reports filed by the NWMounted Police and then the RCMP that note large herds of buffalo that were encircled by the natives and then purposely set ablaze by the use of grass fires. Buffalo that were not killed outright were left to suffer with horrible burns which the officers dispatched out of kindness to end their misery. The Factors of the Hudson's Bay Company were required to keep detailed records of daily occurrences and transactions. Many had native wives. They wrote of how hard it was to stop the natives from trapping out areas and then being unable to support themselves through trade. Moving the bands from area to area was considered a prime function of trade practice. Being a stone age culture who had not even invented the wheel yet - it was not inherent goodness that stopped the further exploitation of the land and wildlife - but the inability to do so due to lack of the tools to do so. You do know that "Grey Owl" was a crazy Brit - right? Suggested reading... 11. Most people who've heard about BF and are out camping unarmed probably imagine themselves being the smaller guy on the right...
