  1. Oh next time we go out in n the woods, let's do it up! Make a day camp, cook some food and let the bigfoots find us instead of hiking all over the forest looking for them! As long as we can keep the cougar and the bears away. Those 50 bear poop piles might deter me a bit, but what about setting up right off the road? You know where I'm thinking! We could even stay until twilight, with just enough light to get off the mountain before full dark. That would be fun! Let's do it! I'm a good camp cook and I have lots of cast iron cookware.. I got my ghost meter back from Tobe yesterday at Strangebrau, so we can play with that, too. Oh, and I recorded some Thom Powell and Ron Morehead for you to hear. Fun!

  2. I prefer moose or even bison to elk meat, but I'm not too picky. Had these recently with dinner. Grew these pearl oyster mushrooms myself. I love learning how to do new things. Dutch oven cooking is something I would like to learn one of these days, too. And I would like to build a cedar strip canoe.

  3. https://blueridgecountry.com/archive/favorites/ottie-cline-powell/ Too many similarities between this and others to be readily dismissed offhand as just another "wandering child" scenario, I'd say.

  4. When you're out in the woods, it pays to have a good first aid kit. I like this guys lists. Some would go in your pack, and some in a larger kit in your truck. I would also add tampons (for puncture woulnds) and full size menstrual pads (for large wounds). Cheap and designed for it. And a clotting pad or two (i think its called QuikClot)?)? https://homesteadsurvivalsite.com/first-aid-items-homesteaders/

  7. Is Utah Sasquatch, Reo? I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. I think he's got the goods. Not sure about the other popular Utah guy. Now, if you're talking about Colorado Bigfoot, he does run all around the woods claiming to see bigfoot and their structures everywhere. Classic narcissist imo, though he also does have some stuff that looks legit. Just not all of it, or even most of it. I wouldn't trust Standing as far as i could throw him. That said, i don't particularly trust Meldrum or Barackman, either, though Cliff is a very likable guy. I bet they are monitored in some way. Their names come up instantly whenever bigfooters ask 'who to send evidence to'. Keep tabs on these two, and you don't really have to monitor anyone else.

  8. And yet the Bigfoot community wants answers, right? Science deals in physical evidence. Not plaster casts, stories, photos, video, etc. If it feels too weird to shoot one? Don’t shoot one! But instead of ostracising people who can? Get involved in other ways. Reports, maps, patterns, etc. Kathy Strain is NOT going to shoot one! But she rolls up her sleeves and helps out in other ways. Which I find is commendable. As a hunter I don’t hunt Gorillas, Chimps, Orangs or even Baboons.... if someone paid fer the trip I wouldn’t go. I enjoy primates. My motivation is not fer a trophy or ego or money or fame. It’s fer recognition of the species and it’s protection. We all want the same thing. We only disagree on how to get there.
