Christopher:

Then there may be more than one "full face video", because I am not incorrect. Time will tell.

My "source" is my own image stabilized work on HD footage. The footage I have stabilized and studied is a Chewbacca mask, with hair modified from the commercial mask versions.

well there goes all of the erickson projects credibility

Maybe I'm being silly asking a question like that but if you are working on the Erickson project's video wouldn't you be under some sort of NDA so that you can't talk about it ?

I don't think we should be hasty in judging what Mr. Erickson will finally release, because all indications i have are that he is sincere in his confidence that BF exists, and he is sincere in trying to prove it to be so. But each person who sets out to prove some truth of this issue must beware of fakes, because just as there are people who like to hoax friends, strangers, or the general public, there are also people who like to hoax researchers. So anyone producing a documentary about BF (not just Mr. Erickson) must be weary of material provided by others and must put it under intense scrutiny and examination, and must keep what can be validated and must reject what can be debunked or discounted.

My only wish, for Mr. Erickson, is that he may be willing to sort good material from bad and use the good material for his documentary, while discarding the bad.

But until there is an actual release for us to examine, I personally will give him the benefit of the doubt that he will strive to release a responsible and reliable documentary.

Have I made any comment specifically about the content of Mr. Erickson's documentary? No.

I do not know what the content of his release will be, when he does in fact finally release it.

I'd rather see (and pay for) ten minutes of quality documented video in hd

than an hour of filler to make something of a length comparable to other dvd's

or TV documentaries. Sure, it might result in less money but the credibility of two

projects now seems staked on this alliance. Ditch the filler and junk.

Thanks bsruther that was a fantastic read!!! one-upped :)

@Bill: Does the artist's rendition on the Erickson project website seem to be an artist's rendition of the creature in the fake footage you examined?

Thanks,

- Shake

Shake:

The artist rendition has no resemblance to any footage I've seen.

I believe it was Masterbarber that posted both of those links in this thread, many months ago.

I live fairly close to the Erickson site and having been there, find it extremely hard to believe that 9 ft. tall bipeds resided there. I'll try to keep an open mind for a little longer though.

I think some folks are missing the Bombshell potential of this statement, along with Db's observations while he was on site.

Just for the record, I advised the person who provided me the footage that it should not be used or shown under any circumstances where there might be even a suggestion it is real. I can only hope said person will heed the advice.

Oh surely not. Unless you wanted the DVD to appeal to an overseas market where the customers don't know any better.
